Replying to @PrincipalPoster
Melonie-you are one of the best principals in CCSD and your focus on kids and instruction is excellent! No matter what happens on the outside of our buildings-we control the inside...so focus on kids and staff and doing what is in their best interest. Our 4 walls come 1st. 👍

Listening to @ccsd board meeting. The reopening plan has been presented. This is a heavy lift. We have to work together with our communities to make this happen. We can do this! @LincolnES1 can’t wait to see our kids in August! @SuptJaraCCSD your principals are ready!

How to talk to kids about what is going on? It is important to validate that the thought of getting sick is scary. Skipping validation makes kids feel unheard & their natural response is to repeat their fears and amplify their anxiety. – at Henderson, NV
