imagine being in the bay and waking up at 9am to watch your team compete for a championship 🫠
fans of both teams needing to call in sick and valks fans gonna be watching their team compete for a championship at 930 AM.
that solid week off before the finals started is killing me. guys, please never not have contingency plans worked out again.
After a weekend of nonstop frantic discussions and negotiation, Game 6 of the WNBA Finals will be played Thursday at 12:30 pm at 17,000-seat State Farm Arena in Atlanta, sources told ESPN.
The Atlanta Hawks-Cleveland Cavaliers game that night will move back to 8 pm to accommodate the doubleheader, just as the Hawks did for Game 4. This allows a potential Game 7 to remain scheduled for Halloween at Chase Center in San Francisco.
All three Finals games in Atlanta have required hurried adjustments to the schedule at State Farm Arena. It took collective efforts from the WNBA, NBA, the Hawks, State Farm Arena, Dream, Valkyries and broadcast partners to figure out the best course of action again.
By moving the game earlier in the day, the WNBA avoided a scenario where a potential championship game was played inside the Dream’s home arena, the 3,500 seat Gateway Center.
The other option under strong consideration was moving Game 6 to an open date at State Farm Arena on Friday and Game 7 to an open date at Chase Center on Tuesday, November 3.

A new WNBA champion could potentially be crowned at *checks notes* 3pm on a Thursday afternoon and then promptly kicked out of the arena so that they can turn over the court for the Hawks 🫠
Like it’s good it’s at the bigger arena but… really???

this injury is absolutely devastating, but one thing i know for sure is this entire team will be with him through every annoying, lonely and long day of recovery. what a bond they all have man.
damn kawhi sitting is a bummer. was looking forward to seeing these two teams against one another, but load management sure feels like we're back in 2019, so if we can time jump back i'd be down.
idk what the ad budget is for these damn man made clothes, but i really need these commercials to get off of my television.

so crazy. a month before the playoffs, even like... a couple of weeks before i would not, could not, have predicted this?!! peaking at the right time for real lol
THE REASON WHY EVERY SINGLE TEAMMATE WOULD RUN THROUGH AN INFINITY OF WALLS FOR HIM.
give hali the entire world, the planets, galaxies, everything. how lucky are we to watch someone who loves this game so much and allows it to mean absolutely everything, even when it hurts.

when we think about his career in the future, no one is ever gonna think about those years i dont think lol he's a one-and-done portland guy in our hearts.
this whole game was full of insane stuff like this and full-on fuck you shots that should have had zero business in falling lol. the run ATL is on and the chemistry they've found at just the right time is WILD.
that dame three was amazing lmfao is everyone else ALSO just pretending the milwaukee experiment never happened? has any nba move ever felt so inconsequential and silly in retrospect before?
