Tried BF2042 again but the UI is still super blurry, looks like it's rendered in 720p, doesn't matter what I do, change, or reboot. Uninstall again, try again next year?

Independence wars is a bit broken in Victoria 3, or? You still pay your former master their taxes and can go in debt doing so? You can't win the war by simply regaining control of your country, you have to conquer.. them?

I've been playing as Spanish Cuba. I started a war for independence, and so far Spain has been unable to enter Cuba for 10+ years, and every attempt I squash them, leaving them with so far half a million losses in manpower. I still pay their taxes..

Why am I going in debt paying their taxes? What are they going to do, land another half a million men that I will kill? It should be the opposite, I should be treated independent unless they are able to prove the opposite.. I guess I'll keep fending them off until the game ends.

Sometimes I log into the rental queue of Malmö and wonder why the fuck I live in Stockholm 🤣 I could live centrally for basically next to nothing, while in Stockholm... yeah. Fun to compare queue times!
