One year ago today I went to @MeansRacing52 to film the shop video with Jimmy. When I walked in he was on the ground welding under a chassis. He stood up and said “I never shake a man’s hand sitting down” and that stuck with me. My dad never told me that. Both my grandfathers were gone before I was 12. The videos are great.. but the little things like this that come with making them are priceless. I appreciate anything to be learned from this generation and take it upon myself to keep those things alive. Even if I am only one person. Everything starts with one person.

Would’ve loved to see the real fight without one guy getting tackled by 6 people

It’s one thing to try to prevent a fight by getting in the middle of it but when you effectively hold his arm down (and tackle him) while the other guy has a hold of him, you’re making the situation way worse / more dangerous
I like fights just as much as the next guy but anyone who thinks it’s a “win” when the other guy is being pushed/restrained by 2-3 other non involved dudes needs to reconsider. Give them at least 10 seconds to sort it out themselves without intervention.

Its not every day you get to have lunch with a bunch of celebrities @ElvisPresley @OffAxisPaint @stapleton42_ 🤘🏼
And for the record Elvis gets peanut butter and nanas on his ribeye sandwich 😂🕺
I got my copy of @markmartin Never Lift book yesterday and opened right up to this picture. So pumped to read it. Also… I really want to go inside that building 🤔
Do you think 1 hour of Next Gen flybys would get 172k views?

Replying to @markmartin
Mark Martin talking about he put a camera to see where the noise was coming from the front suspension on his motor home is more entertaining than 80% of nascar races today to me
How much power did a Winston Cup engine make in 1993? Here’s a qualifying engine dyno sheet from Alan Kulwicki Racing. Open Martinsville engine.
UGLY PAINT SCHEMES THREAD: What was your personal ugliest paint scheme? Here’s mine. I remember this car being nails on a chalkboard for my eyeballs as a kid I couldn’t stand it. Funny because I like UPS but brown has no place on a racecar. Later versions of the scheme got better
Mass media assumes viewers are dumb and can only handle surface level information. Which just isn’t true. This level of breakdown is EXACTLY what broadcasts need to hook new fans. Brad has been criminally under appreciated for a long time and I think lately people are starting to realize how much value he brings in multiple facets. I hope we see more of this.
Most of this could be accomplished with high quality vinyl in layers instead of printing everything on one sheet and sticking it on like a billboard. Paint is still king but vinyl is more capable than it’s being utilized as on most race cars.
I remember watching this show when it came out on a super tiny tube TV in the back of my dad’s motorhome. There should be something like this in present day.
Who remembers NASCAR Drivers: 360?
Here was the first advertisement that FX and NASCAR ran promoting the show in the off-season of 2003-04 featuring @Kenny_Wallace and @jeremymayfield_

Kyle’s last win coming in the 7 truck for Spire is crazy. Spire ran out of Kulwicki’s former race shop before they bought KBM and moved everything there.

Really awesome @stapleton42_ video with @StenhouseJr and @mikekelley at the old @RFKracing shop. Hearing about Ricky’s come-up and even a cool story about him cutting up @Elliott_Sadler ‘s 2010 Pocono crash car. Highly recommend.
