I was personally given photos to promote @thealixlynx’s appearance on my podcast, with full permission to use them. Yet her DMCA takedown company went ahead and had X remove those very photos, despite me being authorised to use them! I don’t know who the company is, but they’re based in Tallinn, Estonia. This is EXACTLY why I use a DMCA company that actually checks before filing takedown claims. Thank you @RebaRocket and @takedownpiracy for manually reviewing content rather than blindly issuing takedowns. DMCA companies need to do their due diligence before targeting legitimate, authorised posts! 😡 This isn’t Alix’s fault. It’s a company failing to check before taking action.
