my shadow and lilly were the same age both adult cats around one years old at most. 🥺

i was just walking when i came across them, so i took them to the vet. ever since my heart has been aching, wondering if they're alright.

lilly was the loss that made every goodbye harder.

every time a cat refuses food or throws up, i remember lilly all over again.

a cat refusing its favourite food is my worst nightmare.

every sick stray cat reminds me of someone i've lost.

i swear every sick or hungry stray on the streets has my location.

these two little souls are unwell. praying they both recover soon.

i don't have a cat distribution system. i have a cat emergency department.

i'm 5'8, a pakistani woman. my brother is 6'1, my dad is 6'2, and my mom was 5'6.

i'm literally so drained after seeing both cats in such bad condition. one got a bone stuck in his throat and the other injured his paws. i can't catch a break

that nightmare became a reality.

remember that white cat i found covered in blood with an injured paw? i haven't been able to find him since, but i went looking for him again today.

i doomscroll through my old tweets, and it makes me so sad to read them.

that was when i knew she would never come back, but deep down, i still hoped she would.
