Fun fact, if you take the number of simulations at the end of the card, 1000, and divide it by the number of days in a year, you get ~2.74. In years, it’s roughly the same time between the game’s launch and Caleb’s branch update in September. We were in that loop with him.

Potential banner spoilers, mostly MS stuff. I mean it😡 I love the way this card highlights Caleb’s limerence. In multiple cards/aus, he paints himself in a corner; he’s the leader and caretaker in their bond. But his vulnerability is that he can’t go any further than that. 1/5

PS I haven’t written in fandom spaces since my tumblr days, years ago. Over there I used link breaks to hide spoilers, but that’s not a thing here. If there’s a good way to avoid spoilers on a thread, lemme know. Seems like the only way to truly dodge them is to avoid the tl.

PPS now I’m thinking about Caleb writing MC’s name while on the phone or in the snow at school. I can’t help but think of someone witnessing it and thinking how lucky his partner is. Or worse, that they hope the person he’s pining for will return his feelings someday.
