Replying to @JohnBarronUSA
John, long time fan and follower of Planet America by you and Chas - but as a tax-paying Australian I expect ABC to deliver balanced coverage including coverage of USA Politics- but it seems now every episode delivered by you and Chas is a dump-on Trump Fest!

Thanks Ashok!
Ashok was the first person to join the Tesla AI/Autopilot team and ultimately rose to lead all AI/Autopilot software.
Without him and our awesome team, we would just be another car company looking for an autonomy supplier that doesn’t exist.
Btw, I never suggested that he say anything and I had no idea he wrote this until I saw it 10 mins ago!

That was huge. A lot of people worked very hard to try and make this industry work.
Thank you everyone.

Tesla’s Elon Musk May Have Boldest Pay Plan in Corporate History
“If Mr. Musk were somehow to increase the value of Tesla to $650 billion — a figure many experts would contend is laughably impossible and would make Tesla one of the five largest companies in the United States, based on current valuations — his stock award could be worth as much as $55 billion (assuming the company does not issue any more shares over the next decade, which is unrealistic). Even reaching several of the milestones would bring him billions.
Mr. Musk’s critics — and there are many — are likely to contend that the new compensation plan is just the company’s latest publicity stunt. He has been called a modern-day P.T. Barnum who has created the illusion of success while consistently missing production estimates. The company continues to lose money; at one point last year, it was losing almost a half-million dollars an hour, according to Bloomberg News. Jim Chanos, a short-seller who has bet against Tesla’s shares — and has thus far been on the losing side of that trade — has contended that Tesla is worthless”

More than 400 startup industry professionals signed this petition on proposed changes to investing in Aussie tech startups in just four days. It's a good start but I know there is a whole lot more than 400 people in the Australian tech startup industry. Can we get the petition to 500 by tomorrow?

It was very cool to join @gctechspace yesterday afternoon at the Old #Mudgeeraba Post Office for their first ever Amazon Web Services Bedrock AI Hackathon. I was chuffed to be asked to be a judge with @shazzybell78 from GC Hub and @darrenrogan from Gold Coast #Blockchain Meetup (& various other ventures)
9 teams of entrepreneurial types innovated new ideas using Bedrock #AI and competed for a series of prizes including a brand new top of the line Kindle.
The winner of the “Corporate” category devised a multilingual AI chatbot using a few platforms combined, the “Just for fun” category coded up an AI “team image generator” for Dungeons and Dragons role players, and the “Impact” category was an #edtech project delivering a tailored tutoring solution for remote students uniquely aligned with a students personality & interests.
All fascinating ideas using AI to make things better. All conceived in our little #Mudgeeraba community centre at the Old Post Office.
Massive thanks to @spidie for hosting and organising. – at Mudgeeraba, Gold Coast

This letter about OpenAI was just sent to me.
These seem like concerns worth investigating.
