Fellow athlete and now RTร Sport interviewer David Gillick was among those to pay tribute to the late Ciara Mageean following her death this morning.
Just bitter.
I donโt say this a lot because Iโm not a Luddite but Arsenal are legitimately everything wrong with modern football.
The way they play football is disgraceful.
But their fanbase is the biggest ick known to football.
I meet an Arsenal fan irl and I already know to disregard them. Nothing real about them. Pure plastic.

Arsenal are strange one. Definitely maturing as Champions but more in the mould of Arsenal teams of the early 90's. Structure, discipline, physical and mental prowess.
Thats not a slur, it's a refreshing acknowledgement of the demands of the Premier League rather trying to be a fantasy football team. But a worthy comparison nonetheless.
Liverpool obviously work in progress, fits and splutters and starts of brilliance then a flaky underbelly that you feel the best would consistently exploit.

May 2025 diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
October 2026 she married long term partner Thomas.
November 1st she died aged 34
