#BookRecommendation Having just seen #TheWildRobotMovie I recommend the original book by @itspeterbrown You get a lot more insight into how Roz changes her programming in order to understand how to look after Brightbill.
I’m 6 years late to it, but this @TNKpod 2018 football special was extra interesting in the hindsight of Southgate’s regime.
Plus there is the revelation that @EmmaElinor is a #QPR fan Go #SuperHoops podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcas…
#BookRecommendation We Are All Birds Of Uganda by Hafsa Zayyan. Sameer is a high flying lawyer who feels empty inside. Will learning about his Grandfather's life in Uganda help him find what he is looking for? I really enjoyed reading it.

Amazed that I can now claim that I technically went to the same university as the great Jessica Hynes. I hope the new honorary doctors celebrated by bogling to Aswad. #Spaced
Congratulations to our new Honorary Doctors Jessica Hynes, @aimafidon @Tammy_Beaumont @BenBrownBBC & @CediArticle, who received their awards at this week's graduation ceremonies 🎓🎉 We’re delighted to welcome you to our CCCU community #CCCUProud 🙌
Had a great afternoon at @RailwaymuseumUg in Jinja. It is small, but well crafted with very knowledgeable guides.
#BookRecommendation Radicalized by @doctorow Four stories set in fairly dystopian futures, but mostly optimistic in outcome - and a strong streak of humour. Contains references to Superman and Edgar Allen Poe, and is highly recommended.
#BookRecommendation Let's Tell This Story Properly by Jennifer Makumbi. A collection of stories about Ugandans in Britain. Some stories are tragic, some romantic, some are comedic. Many are more than one.
#BookRecommendation Kalolo Hill by @NeemaMShah The story of an Ugandan Asian family during the time of Idi Amin, it is also about family secrets, love, friendship and betrayal. A great read.

Summer morning in the UK. Only three days here and already I'm missing #Zambia.
ALT A grey, drizzly morning in Portsmouth Harbour.
Today was my last day working for @UKinZambia It has been just under five years of amazing experiences, doing one of the best @FCDOGovUK jobs.
I’m sad to leave #Zambia but I’m looking forward to starting my new role in August for @UKinUganda

Had a great conversation with my Zambian colleague and competitor @mubitanawa77 for SG who has an important vision. Critical that whomever wins, we see more strong African leadership throughout INTERPOL to make sure regional priorities are addressed properly.
#BookRecommendation Ammonite by @nicolaz Anthropologist Marghe is exploring the planet of Jeep. It is about change and acceptance, with an equally well drawn 'B story'. A great read, brim full of ideas to contemplate.
