My best friend invited me to her wedding, but her fiancé called me privately and asked me not to attend.
My best friend and I had been close for twelve years. We met in college, shared our deepest secrets, and stood by each other through heartbreaks, financial struggles, and family problems. When she got engaged, I was genuinely happy for her. She even asked me to be her maid of honor.
A week before the wedding, her fiancé called me.

THE MATRIX TRILOGY — CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN IT TO ME LIKE I'M 5 YEARS OLD?
I've seen the films before, but it's been a long time.
I've rewatched the first two films and will be watching the third one soon, followed by the new film in the cinema.
But I'm very confused! I've been concentrating on the story and have even read a couple of articles and watched a YouTube video trying to explain it, but I'm still struggling to understand it.
Here are the main things confusing me:
1. Neo's life at the beginning: Neo seems to be living a normal life, working in an office, etc. Is this life real? What exactly is happening?
2. Why do humans plug themselves into the Matrix? I understand that the Machines took over the Earth and essentially destroyed it, but why do they put humans inside the Matrix? What's the purpose of it? Why do people inside the Matrix fight the Agents? Who exactly are these Agents?
3. Who created the Matrix? Was it the Architect or the Machines? And why was it created in the first place?
4. The Agents and the Machines: Is there a connection between them? If so, what is it?
5. Zion and the real world: Is Zion located on Earth? Is the world outside the Matrix what Earth looks like now?

The way the Guardians handle space conflicts is and always has been incredibly dumb. Human lanterns can't interfere with human conflicts, but can interfere with alien conflicts. Hal literally mentions solving a civil war on another planet in episode one.
So a human Lantern can't touch Earth drama, but an ALIEN lantern could? What is the actual point? The Corps jurisdiction is completely broken, especially since they don't answer to ANY government, just these little blue dudes who nobody voted into power.

It has been seventy-one days since my wife and I last touched each other in bed, and she still hasn't noticed that I'm the reason.

Three months ago, Nadia left her tablet on the arm of the couch while she took a call outside. A message from her sister lit up the screen, and I read the whole thread, because the preview had my name in it.
Her sister had written: Do you guys still have a good sex life?
Nadia had answered: Define good. I initiate or it doesn't happen. If I stopped, we'd go months. He's sweet about it, but I always feel like I'm dragging him there.

My neighbor made $160 selling lemons from my backyard, and now she thinks I’m unreasonable for asking about the money.
I have a lemon tree that produces more fruit than I can use. A few weeks ago, my neighbor asked if she could pick some for homemade lemonade. I told her to take whatever she needed.
Yesterday, I discovered she’d been selling bags of my lemons on Facebook Marketplace. When I confronted her, she admitted she’d made $160.
She said, “You told me I could take as many as I wanted. I didn’t know there were conditions.”
I explained that I meant for her to use them, not sell them for profit.
She argued that she picked, washed, and packaged everything herself, then offered me $30 because I’d done none of the work.
I told her it wasn’t about the money. It was about turning my generosity into a business without telling me.
Now she says I’m changing our agreement just because I found out how much she earned.
