Overheard a very Glaswegian Bible Preacher: "Christ died on the Cross - How?"
I mean it's quite nasty really.
If only Balustrade Lanyard was standing #Clacton – at Thornliebank, Scotland

Cycling home through the city centre of Glasgow at 7pm last night, as I do every night. I live in the Calton have done for 27 years hardly middle class. The city isn’t rosie, but it’s not lawless & it is bonnie & still a brilliant place to live.

I'm not going to complain to the local managers in Giffnock @Morrisons, but this needs addressing at a higher level. 12 chilled / frozen displays out of action, so no Pasta, Pizza, Vegan, Sandwiches, Halal, Beef, prepared fish, yoghurts, chilled meats. It's not a one-off either.
What's amazing about Dave's keyboard is that it's really quite simple inside - to take that to how Dave created such a wonderful sound is a craft in itself #TheStranglers #TheRepairShop
Oh look. Brightly coloured vapes right where the brightly coloured sweets used to be. #Scotland #ScotGov @Morrisons do you really think this is appropriate? And why do you think this won't encourage children to vape?
I've never been to Bellshill but I'm concerned for them that auto-correct suggests it as a change for bullshit.

I don’t know who is leasing the shop units in the @tontineglasgow but they are doing a good job curating them with new cafes opening on the High Street and now a new bookshop, ‘Chapter One’ for charity @CHSScotland opening at the corner of Glasgow Cross.
And a good bookshop it is too with a great range of second hand books and new ones all served up along with a cafe bar and book launches. It’s worth a visit if you’re in the vicinity.
It just shows how these handsome and robust buildings can readily accommodate new uses which activate the ground floor thus bringing new life into the ancient heart of Glasgow. If we want to increase footfall in Glasgow’s city centre, this is the way to do it 🚶🤔😉👍!
Remember at school when the teacher said: "I was just checking you were paying attention."
-> That's me paying attention.
FT 12 Sept 2025 has an article based on research from Barclays on too many people having excess savings and why people should invest instead:
"Parts of the City, including asset managers and banks, could benefit from more inflows into higher-fee investment products."
Yip.
Every year, we're clinging on to the hope it's still summer, and then there's @Morrisons stacking the shelves for Christmas
IT'S STILL AUGUST!
