Beyond Happiness Lies Peace
Most people spend their whole lives chasing happiness.
But happiness is fragile.
If it rises, it can fall.
If you gain something, you can lose it.
And that cycle of highs and lows leaves people exhausted.
Shi Heng Yi offers a deeper truth:
Stop chasing happiness.
Seek peace.
Peace isnāt dependent on life going your way.
It doesnāt disappear when things get hard.
Peace is staying calm and groundedā¦
even in loss, uncertainty, and challenge.
Itās not pretending everything is perfect.
Itās learning to stand steady in reality.
And lasting peace isnāt found in success, relationships, or possessionsā¦
Itās built within.
Through awareness.
Discipline.
Inner work.
So the real question is:
Are you chasing temporary feelingsā¦
or cultivating something that endures?
Last night at the University of Central Florida more than 5,000 students gathered for a worship and outreach event hosted by the campus ministry UniteUS.
According to ministry leaders, about 1,600 students made decisions for Jesus and publicly committed their lives to faith.
Hundreds were baptized during the gathering, and many students who previously identified as non-religious reported becoming Christians.
The founder of UniteUS, Tonya Prewett, posted that ārevival is not slowing downā as students continue to respond to the message and worship together.
PUBLIC RECORDS RULING INVOLVING THE BREVARD COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD CHAIRMAN
This week, a legal ruling was issued involving the Brevard County School Board and Floridaās Public Records Act.
A judge has ruled in a public records lawsuit involving two elected school board members, Jennifer Jenkins and Matt Susin.
This case was not about political ideology. It centered on whether communications connected to official school board business must be disclosed under Floridaās public records law.
Background
Over the past two years, Jenkins made repeated public records requests seeking phone call logs and related communications from Susin. The issue focused on whether official business was being conducted on a personal phone, and whether those records still fall under Floridaās Public Records Act.
Florida law is broad. The key question is not what device is used, but whether the communication involves public business. If it does, it can be subject to disclosure.
Why It Went to Court
Susin resisted producing the requested call logs for an extended period of time, arguing at different points that the records were not subject to disclosure, did not exist, or were not required to be turned over.
After nearly three years of legal proceedings, the court addressed whether the delay was lawful.
The Judgeās Ruling
The judge ruled that the delay in producing the records was unreasonable under Floridaās Public Records Act.
In plain terms, the court agreed that the requested call logs were covered by public records law and should have been produced without such a prolonged delay.
This ruling reinforces an important principle: elected officials cannot avoid transparency simply by using private devices or delaying responses to lawful records requests.
The judge retained jurisdiction to potentially decide that issue next.
As of the reporting, no appeal had been filed yet, but both sides reportedly have about 30 days to appeal the ruling.
Additional Political Context
It is also worth noting that Jennifer Jenkins is no longer a local school board figure.
She previously launched a campaign for the U.S. Senate in Floridaās 2026 election cycle, but later ended that bid and is now running for the U.S. House of Representatives in Floridaās 6th Congressional District, challenging Congressman Randy Fine.
Why This Case Matters
This ruling is bigger than two individuals. It is part of the larger conversation many residents are already having about accountability and transparency within Brevard County Schools.
What level of openness should the public expect from elected officials when it comes to conducting public business?
I'm open to learning more positive things about Chairman Susin as all I've read and been told was fueled by distrust, frustration and even anger from parents and others.

For educational purposes I watched both halftime shows today and Iāll give a very simple review of each.
Just to give contextā¦
I donāt ever watch football.
I donāt care about the Super Bowl.
And Iām not a fan of TPUSA for various reasons (we can talk about that later or never).
Iāve never paid attention to Bad Bunny before today. Iāve heard the name, and honestly I thought Bad Bunny was a girl⦠just because of the association with the name āBunny.ā
Iām also not caught up on all the political drama or all the good or bad things heās said or done.
Iāve always thought Kid Rock was a great performer and seems like a fun guy.
š¤ Bad Bunny Official Super Bowl Halftime Show
First of all, this was the least visually demonic halftime show Iāve seen in as long as I can rememberā¦
But again, I donāt watch the Super Bowl, I only ever see clips and replays.
In recent years, halftime shows have been some straight up scandalous, demon-anchoring, sexual driven nonsense that doesnāt fit well with whatās supposed to be Americaās biggest sporting event of the year.
The idea that parents canāt even have their kids in the room during halftime is⦠a little too much.
With Bad Bunnyā¦
I had no idea what he was saying because it was all in Spanish.
The only words I heard in English were āGod Bless America.ā
The set was relatively simple.
Not a ton of pyrotechnics or crazy shock visuals.
The overall energy seemed good.
There was some sort of wedding or family celebration vibe⦠friends dancing, people smiling, more communal than edgy.
At the end there was an announcement of various countries and flags led by the American flag, with a sign that said:
āThe only thing more powerful than hate is love.ā
Overall, I expected something way more controversial⦠and Iām glad it wasnāt.
And just for scaleā¦
The official Super Bowl halftime show is part of the main broadcast and typically reaches 100 million+ viewers in the United States alone.
So Bad Bunny was performing for basically the largest stage possible.
Bad Bunny Rating: 5.5 out of 10
šŗšø TPUSA āAll American Halftime Showā
The TPUSA halftime show was indoors with a variety of performers and different tempo.
Much smaller set.
It appeared pre-recorded.
The performers have incredible talent and did great for the setting.
Now to be fairā¦
This wasnāt on the Super Bowl broadcast.
It was an alternative livestream event.
Reports say it drew roughly 4 to 5 million viewers online, which is still a big number⦠but itās a tiny fraction compared to the Super Bowlās 100+ million audience.
Personally, it didnāt feel competitive with the spectacle or scale of the real halftime show.
If TPUSA wanted to truly compete, I think they should have gotten someone like Jelly Roll and Brandon Lake and had them perform in a huge stadium and just focused on the Holy Spirit something powerful and upliftingā¦
But thatās just me.
TPUSA Rating: 4.5 out of 10
ā Final Ratings
Bad Bunny: 5.5 / 10
TPUSA: 4.5 / 10
Final thought I won't be following any of the performers or organizers beyond this thread and there was little to no personal impact. Seems like more hype than substance once again.
Enjoy your night and hope to hear your experiences from this evening.
