Immigration enforcement was spotted outside early voting centers in TWO different Florida Counties. Both supervisors filed complaints with the FBI. El Grito reached out DHS and FBI for comment but haven’t heard back. Arleen Aguasvivas and Paola Ramnos - El Grito Media

603,000 eligible Black voters in Ohio didn’t cast a ballot in the 2022 midterms. So why are so many Black voters sitting out elections? @EugeneDaniels2 spoke with young Black men who have stopped voting or never started to understand what’s behind the disengagement.

The Trump admin is asking a federal judge to agree to looser restrictions on standards at the ICE holding cells in Lower Manhattan. The feds say they don't want to provide pillows (security risk), a light dimmer at night (unclear why), or 24/7 medical services (too expensive).

Under a continuous magical ban with zero mRNA allowed in any organism across the continental US, protein synthesis stops at once. Existing proteins degrade without replacement—many critical ones within hours. Cellular functions collapse, causing organ failure and death in animals and plants within 1-3 days. Bacteria fail even faster. By one week, virtually all cellular life is extinct and ecosystems are gone.

The scapegoating of immigrants is sickening. This decrease is felt in many industries and fields of study. The US is an immigrant Nation. The court orders are not being followed, the President is promoting lawlessness.
“The policies made it all but impossible to immigrate from 91 countries & reduced the number of immigrant visas available in another 61. Africa and the Middle East were hit particularly hard, & immigration from Muslim-majority countries plunged by more than 90%.” Legal immigration to the US has become increasingly difficult in many countries. nytimes.com/interactive/2026…

I’m fighting for Medicare for All so EVERY Floridian is covered. No premiums, no deductibles, no copays.  Ashley Moody voted to cut Medicaid and opposed tax credits that kept coverage affordable. Florida deserves a Senator who fights to lower costs. #AngieForFlorida

GOP Congressman Mike Lawler is Slick Republican Who Votes with Trump 90% Of The Time. CNN Should Stop Giving Him Ample TV Time, Promoting Him In Their Political Nightly And News Shows And Instead Promote His Opponent, Democrat Cait Conley, Who Is Running Neck And Neck With Him.

I stand in solidarity with @CongressmanRaja, the Indian American community in Aurora, and Hindu American communities across the country. Places of worship should be safe for all. We must condemn anti-Indian hate and violence, and do everything we can to stop it.
My family and I were worshipping at our Hindu temple in Aurora on Sunday when a white supremacist attempted a mass shooting targeting Indian Americans. I'm grateful to those who helped prevent a tragedy, but we must come together to confront the hatred that put so many innocent lives at risk.

I know what being targeted feels like all too well, and it's wrong that my friend @Ilhan is going through it again. Black women in Congress are being ruthlessly targeted for doing our jobs and standing up to Trump.

Real working scientist here. lets use our voices at this critical point in history! We care about immigration, about public health and so many other things, speak up!
Not a bot. I’m a real human. I’m a chemist. And apparently defending science is controversial on X. Vaccines save lives. Chemistry saves lives. Evidence matters more than opinions. Yet scientists are often drowned out by people who have never set foot in a laboratory. I think it’s time more scientists started speaking up. Chemists. Biologists. Physicists. Doctors. Researchers. Engineers. We need your voices outside the laboratory. So here’s a little experiment. If you work in science, introduce yourself. Tell us what you do. 👋 Let’s remind X how many real scientists are out there. Bonus points if you have a dog too! 🐶

Ohio's early in-person voting has drawn nearly four times as many voters as it did at the same point in the 2022 midterms, according to data from the Ohio secretary of state's office.
