Started on Twitter because of Norwich City. Now it seems to be mostly politics! Also an Ayr United fan becoming increasingly interested in Scottish affairs.

It’s 33 years since Norwich knocked Bayern Munich out of the UEFA Cup. Here’s the BBC’s live coverage after the final whistle that night. Two mins watching the celebrations and a look at the goal, before the Sportsnight theme sees us out. Glory days.

NEW: Nigel Farage's contract to write regularly for the Telegraph to END. A dispute over the background. Sources suggest new owners were ending contract. But Farage resigned Friday citing Tel's direction under new owners... theguardian.com/politics/202…

Telegraph aren’t getting rid of people because they’re too right wing — their new German owners are so right wing they’re off the scale — they’re getting rid of them because they’re expensive. theguardian.com/politics/202…

A summary of Burnley’s most concerning finances. Not good for a club in the Championship relegation zone at present. Can’t rely on player sales, legal settlements and parachute payments to dig you out all the time.

An excellent idea. The thought that we will have to be reminded annually of Liz Truss’s disastrous tenure is simply too much.
In today’s Times the mighty Max Hastings makes the argument for scrapping the tradition of former PMs laying wreaths at the Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday. There will be 9 this year. At the least any ex PM should have served 5 years plus the most recent ex PM. That would mean Major, Blair, Cameron & Starmer at this years ceremony.

Pevsner said that Norwich Royal Arcade (1899) 'came nearest to Continental Art Nouveau'. All due to the Doulton tiles designed by WJ Neatby.

The best goal of the weekend that won’t count?!? Barrow scored in the opening seconds against Forest Green. Sadly the game was called off 14 minutes later due to a waterlogged pitch.

Much, much, much better. Same again next week against Watford and the table starts to look a bit better. #ncfc

That's some "mutual termination of a contract", isn't it?

11 years ago, the Brewers raised $1m by tricking their fans into buying a Timeless Ticket that would get them the best available seat to any future game including the World Series. Now they are being redeemed, buts fans are only getting 400 level seats and standing room. It's not what the fans bargained for and Milwaukee's attempts to quiet the situation are woefully inadequate.

@NorwichCityHelp Morning, is there an actual time people need to be in their seats pre-match for the Michael Wynn tribute?
