As a lifelong Notre Dame fan, I have come to realize that unless the Irish finish 12-0, they may never get a fair shake from the College Football Playoff (CFP). I believe the CFP committee, the SEC, and the Big Ten all have a bias against Notre Dame. Why? Because Notre Dame dares to remain independent.
Being independent means Notre Dame can only schedule the teams willing to play them. USC, Indiana, Michigan, and others have all canceled or changed their series with the Irish. They claim it's because of the move to a nine-game conference schedule. But if these programs are as strong as they claim to be, why should playing Notre Dame be a problem?
I believe Notre Dame will win today. But even at 11-1, I wouldn't be surprised if the CFP committee finds a way to keep the Irish at No. 12 or lower. And that's fine.
If I were a Division I football player and had to choose between winning a national championship and earning a degree from Notre Dame, I would choose the Notre Dame degree every time. A Notre Dame education opens more doors and creates opportunities that last a lifetime. A national championship is special, but an education from Notre Dame is something you carry with you forever.
So, Notre Dame Football, stand your ground. Stay independent. Don't compromise your identity or your values just to satisfy the powers that be. Eventually, those same programs that refuse to play you may be the ones begging for the opportunity.
LOVE THEE, NOTRE DAME! ☘️
One thing I noticed after the "Blue Wave"....no riots, no crying, no one saying they are leaving the country...all Republicans just went back to work! @HamCoGOP @GOP @ButlerOhio
College football National championship game since 2023
Michigan vs Washington
Ohio State vs Notre Dame
Indiana vs Miami
Not a single SEC team yet we continue to give them "high quality" wins, which in reality is just overrated wins to make them look better

If @JDVance cannot bring himself to say that Trump made the right decision to disarm Iran, he has no business seeking the GOP nomination to succeed him. If Vance can’t endorse Trump’s national security policy, Trump should not endorse him.

Huge development for Notre Dame-Miami. Toney is the main character of the Hurricanes entire offense.
After undergoing further testing, Miami star wide receiver Malachi Toney is currently expected to undergo surgery due to the ankle injury he suffered today during practice, sources tell @CBSSports.
The current belief is that it’s not a season-ending injury, per sources.

🚨 NEW: Fox’s Greg Gutfeld just made a BIG prediction about the future of the Dems following the midterms: “Democrats will over-reach. It’s going to be hilarious. Expect investigations, impeachment theater. They will have a progressive pipe dream wish list untethered to reality like you’ve never seen.”
“They will alienate the country and people like Harold Ford Jr will be rendered irrelevant. The left will govern until the party dies. The Dems have lost the house the last three out of four cycles they’ve held it. And when America gets a taste of the weirdness, they return to the fold. Two years is a blink,” adds @greggutfeld

The committee banged Notre Dame for a lack of signature wins (or win, singular)
No. 4 Indiana's wins:
North Texas
Howard
Western Kentucky
Northwestern (29-23)
Rutgers
Nebraska (20-17)
Michigan (13-6 in OT)
Minnesota (23-16 in OT)
Georgia lost to an unranked Auburn at home...@NDFootball lost to a ranked BYU on the road . Tell me why the difference in ranking?
So the @Reds could have had Cal Ripken, Jr?
