Most underrated aspect of Fox this season is that hes our best non-Wemby defender thus far. Castle obviously takes that title usually but hes been a little inconsistent to start the year and Fox is just very active and has been great at pressuring the ballhandler

#Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama said he’s worked on shots behind closed doors that haven’t made their way into games yet.
Asked if those moves are coming soon: “Hopefully, yeah. It's always a challenge to balance individual development and team goals because … we're not out there to work on our game. We're here to win games.” #PorVida

The scariest part of Victor Wembanyama’s night against Minnesota?
He took 26 of his 34 shots inside the arc. When Wemby decides to stop settling and starts attacking teams at the rim, there is genuinely no defensive answer on earth.

Victor Wembanyama on developing a signature move or go-to shot:
“I feel like a signature shot is something you look back on and make the conclusion ‘this is their signature shot’. So it's not the goal to create a signature shot, but go-to moves, yes it is.”

Victor Wembanyama is the first Spur since 1996 to have 40+ points and 5+ blocks in the same game (David Robinson).

Fox is having the most efficient season of his career so far
16.5 PPG
4.8 RPG
7.0 APG
on 58/37/80 shooting splits & a 68.6% TS%
but get this he’s also taking the fewest shots of his career at 9.8 per game adapting his game in real time
