I love watching children’s thinking come to life and concrete, pictorial and abstract representations can work alongside each other seamlessly to let us see a child’s thoughts.

Picture books and maths are a favourite combo of mine.
Whilst dropping off donations at a charity shop I had a look to see if there were any bargain books for my nephew.
This one jumped out at me for obvious reasons but can you see the problem(s) I might be having with it?!
Time for a quick celebratory brew after successfully delivering a new @WhiteRoseEd TA webinar that I have written.
It was full of wonderfully engaged TAs looking to make a difference in the way they support children.

I’m really looking forward to this afternoon as it’s the first live webinar of the @WhiteRoseEd Primary Intervention Programme for this academic year. There’s over 40 schools signed up and I can’t wait to meet the maths leaders that we’ll be working with!
