I'm not a fan of @SenatorSlotkin's recent comments or her framing of the issues, but in 2021 she supported a bill introduced by then Senator Abigail Spanberger.

It's an acknowledgment the CIA knew or at least highly suspected directed-energy weapons have been used to target more than CIA's own personnel and direct dependents. And if we are going for full transparency here, then we should acknowledge the civilians the CIA and DoD *made* dependents after years of gross misconduct and criminal negligence after real felonies occurred.

This is very important and concerns everyone! Civilians diagnosed with the same Havana Syndrome symptoms, some by the same expert physicians, as the Havana Syndrome diplomats, are denied equal treatment (diagnostic guidance and care). We are not second-class citizens!
Just think how insane the US Gov't's position in BER v. CDC is.
Federal employees with Havana Syndrome get diagnostic guidance and care programs. Civilians diagnosed with the same condition sue for equal treatment, and the CDC's answer boils down to: "Can't make me."
That's why I wrote my open letter to HHS Sec. Kennedy, now on @APNews, @GoogleNews, @natlawreview and more.
