🏗️ NSW grower and GRDC Northern Panel member Mark Swift says due diligence is critical when investing in on-farm grain storage.
His family’s new 10,000 t system was designed to improve freight efficiency, drying, harvest logistics and marketing flexibility, but he says it has also involved a steep learning curve.
His advice is to speak with independent experts and growers already operating similar systems before investing.
