Happy World Book Day from Year 5! 📚 Today we are escaping to other worlds from the comfort of our Year 5 reading dens! ⛺️
It was wonderful to welcome our families into Year 5 for our Stay and Pray. We spent time reflecting on how we can spread God’s light in our everyday lives, both within our school community and at home with our families. 🕯️✨
In Reception we have been working hard to understand that 5 can be partitioned into different parts and explain what the parts are. @NCETM #masteringnumber
A big thank you to @EdinaTrust for these two beautiful science books! We can't wait to get reading! #NationalYearofReading
Reception had lots of fun with their ice skating penguins. Children explored how the ice slid down the ramps at different speeds, experimented with spraying water, and watched how this changed the speed and melting process. They had lots of fun, curiosity and brilliant thinking.
Retelling Luke 4:16-22 about Jesus announcing his mission using playdough. Such talented artists in Year 1.

Oh no! The penguins are trapped in the ice! How can we get them out?
Luckily, Reception had so many great ideas to help set them free.
Look at our 3D sculptures! Such perseverance, resilience and creativity used! #OLASPart
We are celebrating kindness, good manners and a great first week back in school. Well done to this weeks certificate winners!
Great phonics learning today! The children are working hard to blend sounds together to read words. @RuthMiskinEdu #phonics #EarlyReading
Year 1 were challenged to make a standing structure with spaghetti and marshmallows at our party! We had such good fun!
A lovely end to the term in Reception. We gathered around our adventure wreath, sang songs and shared prayers. A lovely way to reflect, celebrate and look forward to Christmas with joy and hope. #advent
