Rana's performance as Bhallaladeva was phenomenal, yet he was not celebrated as some kind of anti-hero. He was hated as a villain. Nobody idolised him. Many are comparing this with the Ramayana and saying this is where the writing failed: by glorifying Ravana instead of portraying him as evil enough.

Telugu audiences are fcking lucky to 've been watching ss rajamouli for so many years. Just look at how he builds & pays off this entire sequence with his dir, music & visual storytelling. I get why he said no one matches his vision. I got goosebumps here

Ramayana is good..must watch in theatres for visual spectacle 3/5 But..But..But They made Ravan a Anti Hero, Asurs as oppressed clan, and for some reason Ravan respects women??? Are you crazy?? U did 8 years research for this...to whitewash a rapist... Pathetic

baladeva wasn't shown as a grey character to establish how badass he was or to make us enjoy and cheer for his death at the end... tumhare paas toh poora source material hai, phir bhi characterisation ke liye tumhe yeh bakchodi karni padti hai

If you read Valmiki Ramayana, you won't like Ravan. If you read Ved Vyasa Mahabharat, you won't like Karna. Don't learn Scriptures through movies... Just a reminder #Ramayana ✌️
