ALT Introduction to the study. 26 studies were selected with this criteria: Randonmized controlled invertention comparing NBI to a different or no intervention Participants must have a physical health condition The studies must be measuring a physical health outcome or a biomarker. The most common health conditions that were studied were: hypertension; fibromyalgia; overweigh or obesity. 56% of the participants were female. The average age of the participants was 54 years old.

ALT Findings: The study found that NBI’s have a significant and positive impact on these health conditions: CARDIOVASCULAR improved diastolic blood pressure decreased heart rate CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM fatigue pain (*no significant impact found but better self-reporting) ENDOCRINE decreased body fat percentages

ALT Conclusion: NBI's are important in healthcare because: They can be free or universally affordable allow many health benefits, targeting more aspects of health environmentally sustainable low carbon treatment option adherence to nature-based activities can improve treatment success. The approach of this study provides clarity and detail on the effects of NBIs on health conditions and enhances usability of the data in practice. These findings support the need for NBI’s in health care as they can have multiple health benefits for the patients.
