What am I doing? 😱 If you like model cars, Scalextric, cake and charity, come along to On Your Marques Model Car Museum in Thrumber Marsh Lane, Mumby, Lincolnshire over the August bank holiday weekend (29-31 August). The museum was set up by my late aunt Jane and her husband Chris. Jane left us in 2012 and Chris hasn't been able to open the museum for the past few years due to ill health – I've been looking after the place since then. It's the most fabulous museum full of memories, models, Scalextric and a cafe! I'm opening the museum for one last time to raise funds for dementia research. Dementia is just horrible – it has hit my close family hard this past year – life will never be the same. So I'd like to do my bit to raise some cash for research into dementia – and I don't fancy another marathon (although maybe you could persuade me!) – so here we go...
