School is a giant daycare for big kids so adults can go to work to make $ to keep the economy cogs turning. its sad, its wasteful of finite time and energy and distracts from and does not support a child finding their inner authentic self and their path to do their unique life work. what a bummer.
RT @AlexHormozi: It’s not imposter syndrome.
You’re not an imposter.
You’re just not good enough yet.

Governments think economically NOT generationally.
Money is their big driver NOT the holistic health, wealth and wellbeing of the individual and collective.
Conventional schooling is a big daycare for big kids.
Kids are in daycare, so adults can go earn $ to keep the economical cogs turning.
Its an outdated system teaching outdated values.
And in the most neuroplastic years of a human life,
we are encouraged to put our future in a school to be taught by people we don't know,
things we don't need and more importantly
a system that misses out seriously important foundational life lessons..
and ideally hopes for but doesn't foster creative thinking, problem solving or agency.
Is this ok?

I have two kids 20, 22 who went through a good private school.
As good as the school was, i think it underserved them.
I don't want the same for my 3year old
---
I'm not sure what the answer here is.
Homeschooling has never appealed to me, but
the more i look at conventional schooling and conventional life the more it feels in conflict to living a good life.
---
Do you look back on your school career believing it offered you all it could?
And all that it should?

Best muscles to train in the gym?
Legs, chest, booty?
Nah man,
It’s those invisible ones:
1. I do hard things.
2. I show up even when I don’t feel like it.
3. I’m accountable for my life quality.
4. I’m bigger than my discomfort.
5. I lean in to challenge.
6. I’m aware of and respect my body’s needs.
7. I lift up others with encouragement.
Good to do the reps in the gym gym 🤸♀️ 🏋️ and all of life’s other gyms too 👨👩👦📝🖇️
What invisible muscles are you currently training?
What is your current ‘life gym’ for training them?

I won’t lie.
I’m just a regular person, just like you.
Having a go,
Trying to figure out what my value is and how I can best help others.
Trying to be a better version of myself,
Trying to connect and find my ppl,
Trying to find meaning in the short life we have,
Trying to expand and lift others up as I rise..
I think the best way to do this…
…is to just keep going.
Want it and will want you back.

Kids hear all the things said/not said. AND see all the things done/not done.
There’s no greater motivation to level up and be your best.
I gave Mr 2yr the choice of outing today and he chose “mum and dads gym, I want to ‘ex-size’”
Today felt like I’m getting something right

Check your 'need' and 'want' statements.
You're at risk of putting yourself in scarcity mindset when you say you need something that isn't actually a need.
Scarcity mindset tricks you into believing your needs aren't being met. This leads to survival mode.
Survival mode stops you seeing new opportunities as you hyperfocus on getting your needs met...which might not even be your needs.
Basic needs-food, water, shelter, love and connection etc.
When you recognise that your basic needs are being met your energy changes. Mindset switches to gratitude, abundance, creativity and faith.
You will see more opportunities present themselves everyday, everywhere.

Sometimes you cant work harder than your already working.
Cant learn faster than your already learning.
Cant move smoother. Cant be any more efficient or productive.
You've reached your limit. Yes, it's a perceived one. Yes, we all know you can go beyond it. But until you realise this, it truly is your true limit. It's your reality.
This is not a reminder to hustle better, productivise the shit out of your rhythm more, go beyond limits, blah blah blah.
Just a reminder to breathe. Be ok when you are reaching your limits. Maybe you need some rest and a cuppo tea. Maybe you're about to get your period (I swear my husband has a cycle too). Remember you're human. Get some sleep, go for a walk, meditate, hugs. Think on other things.
And then get back to it.
Being kind to yourself is also part of working hard.

Vulnerability=likability.
If you’re perfect you’re boring.
Ppl can’t relate because no one is perfect.
Seeing a perps flaws makes them human, makes them relatable, makes them easier to like and connect with.
Plus we’re problem solving oriented by nature.
Expressing your realness and your problems, gives someone the opportunity to connect with it, relate to it, and come up with solutions.
We get the same back from giving to others. By being of service.
So be real. Warts and all. Mistakes and all.

When my 2, 19, 21yr old do questionable or under serving things..1st thought is 'do I do that?'
Answer: probs, yes
2nd thought...'shit I better fix it'
One of the most uncomfortable things about being a parent is seeing your 'bad' under serving habits, behaviours etc reflected back at you through your kids.
Parents/main carers are kids greatest role model.
Our dialogue become their inner dialogue.
So in the expanded, multi- dimensional, all encompassing, s*** smudged quest of raising awesome humans im trying not to impart too much of my crap on them.
When i see them floundering, I bring it back to me first.
Have I helped create this behaviour pattern or mental loop that isn't flowing but is stuck.
How can I transcend that in myself?
Pretty intense inspiration for personal transformation.
Improve their teacher and the teaching methods.
I also remind myself that every kid gets their own unique traumas, from their own uniquely traumatised parents.
Flowers sometimes need a bit of shit to grow in.
It's a rite of passage to fix your own crap from childhood and forgive your parents for all their unconscious programmed BS they imposed (hopefully well intentioned).
Thankfully my 3 do reflect back a lot of good stuff too, with their own delicious flavours infused 🍍🍄🍼
