Student Roost

Home isn't always a house…sometimes it's a place that gives you peace💚 No matter whether it's 3am or 4pm, this place has always felt calm. I've watched these trees go from bearing cherries 🍒 to shedding every leaf in autumn, only to bloom again. Somehow, that cycle never gets old. I still remember one New Year's when almost 90% of the building was empty. While everyone was celebrating or had gone home, I was working on my project. At half past four in the morning, exhausted and unable to sleep, I came down, sat on one of these benches, soaked in the silence for a while, and then went back to my room to continue studying. Somewhere along the way, this student accommodation stopped being just a place to stay. It became home 🤍 @StudentRoostUK @srnottinghamtwo #studioapartment #UnitedKingdom
