“If the roster cap is lifted I would sit down with him, and if that’s what he wants to do, Robbie’s been great to us and we’ll certainly do everything we can to work with him.”
Round 4 of Robbie Avila vs. NCAA has ended. The SLU staff was in court as support. Judge says he’ll rule as quickly as possible with no timeline.
Josh Schertz said he plans to use 9 players against Bradley in Friday. The Nos. 8/9 players right now are Laczkowski and Hutson. He might go deeper.

Robbie Avila was in court this morning only to have NCAA request change of judges. That move had been revealed before the hearing so we didn’t even have to stand for the judge’s entry. He signed papers and it was over.

Getting five players from one team on preseason all-conference teams is rare, so not surprising it didn't happen for SLU. But the absence of Quentin Jones from the top 18 in the Atlantic 10 is hard to fathom.
SLU was picked sixth in the women's Atlantic 10 pre-season voting. Alyssa Koerkenmeier was selected for the first team and all-defensive team.
SLU's Trey Green and Kellen Thames were named to the A-10 preseason first team, Amari McCottry made the second team and Ishan Sharma the third team.
VCU was picked to finish first in the Atlantic 10 men's basketball race, beating out SLU by one point. VCU received 11 1st-place votes and SLU received 10. Dayton was third with 2 1st -place votes.
