Our Monday 2pm seminars are back after a summer break and kicking-off was Harmony Jiang who gave us an update on the ERA study @study_era. With the end of recruitment on the horizon👏, we discussed some the logistical challenges faced by the team as well as the next steps.
If you know anyone who has experienced #anxiety or #depression, please encourage them to sign up to the @GLADStudy to help improve the lives of future generations. Sign up at gladstudy.org.uk @NIHRresearch - When you take part please select ELFT when prompted.
Yesterday, we were lucky enough to have Princess Kabba @KabbaPrincess deliver diversity and inclusion training (in-person!) - “Put your brave pants on.” Even if you’ve had EDI training before, I’d encourage ELFT staff to sign up for this unique and thought-provoking session.

A paper by former PhD student Emma Windle and the @study_era team has been given the Mental Elf treatment. Read their review of the survey study here, which looked at preferences for different art therapy modalities @CatherineCarrMT @emma_medlicott
Today Lorna Collins @sensinglorna reviews a survey asking mental health service users their views and preferences about arts therapy groups (art, music, drama, dance). Interesting findings! Research in @BMJ_Open by @stefanpriebe @QMULSocialPsych et al elfi.sh/34hN1Fe
