Whilst we are sad to see Matt @MatthewFaires go after 18 months at the Unit working on @study_scene we are thrilled that he has managed to secure a fantastic programme manager job in his area of interest (physical activity and mental health) @MHARG_york @SimonGilbody

A finding from @study_scene Despite increased opportunities for social contact, people with psychosis living in densely populated urban areas are more likely to be socially isolated.

Yesterday saw the end of an era for the Unit as we said goodbye to Carolanne Ellis-Brewer! She has been the Unit manager for over 15 years and it will just not be the same place without her. We wish her all the best in her retirement

Congratulations to @study_scene for reaching their recruitment target 🥳🥳🥳
We made it!!!! Over 574 participants have been enrolled in the trial which was no mean feat, even before Covid. Thank you to all researchers, CSOs, PIs, coaches, referring clinicians, administrators and every single person who helped to make this happen - it takes a team!
THREAD: Recruitment closed to the @study_scene!🎬 What's next? Social Coaching Sessions will continue, others will continue to be followed up by our fab partners at @UniOfYork including @BethACasey2.

Yesterday, we were lucky enough to have Princess Kabba @KabbaPrincess deliver diversity and inclusion training (in-person!) - “Put your brave pants on.” Even if you’ve had EDI training before, I’d encourage ELFT staff to sign up for this unique and thought-provoking session.
