We need a POS machine that accepts international and Amex Cards urgently
How is it so hard to get one
- @Razorpay created a ticket for me today - still waiting for their team to call
- @PineLabs - Had a number to call - called back - I could only hear background noise - had to call back - they gave me someone who connected on WhatsApp and now that number is switched off
- @Mswipe - Just took down my number and no followup since
These are mega firms - who I expect have tuned their sales operations out.
Why wouldn't you jump on the opportunity when a retail store is actively calling you because of a problem they have.
This is the way. And the weird thing is more ppl that do this the more the app based taxis will have to match prices. Win win.
Just a thought - not sure if I will follow through, am shy like that - should I share what I learn about using HyperFrames and Tessarect together for creating Ad Videos for Art Lounge as I do it?
Like a short wrap up of the day and proof of what came out?
And as I weave Canva into it share that too?
Lemme know.
Building a B2B CRM at @ArtLoungein has been great because the feedback comes fast, faster than I've ever had it.
It's not just shipping. It's real input that leads to business outcomes, and handling multiple stakeholders whose requirements can be quite specific.
Stage one is invoice reconciliation and getting money owed to us. Next comes pushing stock to buyers. After that, there's being easier to reach.
Long way to go. Loving the build.
Everything i see these speakers I marvel at how much foresight it must have taken for the design team to realise that we can make a speaker into a showcase item and it will instantly mean this person values good sound.
And it sounds damn good to boot.
I'm making sure that every tool that we now build for the team has an MCP from the start.
Everyone knows how to chat in Natural language and everyone wants the answers to come to them not the otherway around
So why not enable that from the start?
Any firm that doesn't go MCP first will get left behind for sure.
Anyone have an open-source @twelvelabs competitor or stack?
What they offer seems epic but I dont think we can afford them yet unless they are feeling generous towards a small business.
Okay, I really need to figure out how to use Canva more and better. Especially for ads. Been sleeping on it for too long.
We’ve only ever had Welcome and Abandoned Cart flows at @ArtLoungein
Coming soon: a full retention stack with @Bento — browse abandon, checkout abandon, post-purchase, reviews, UGC, sunset. Built with Claude and Tanuki (Bento’s internal agent).
The point isn’t more emails — it’s staying with the customer through the journey and after.
@jessethanley you've built a beauty of a tool.
Currently in HK at a relatives home and I kept wondering why this home felt larger than the ones of the same size I saw in Mumbai.
Then it hit me - 4 bedrooms. 2 bathrooms. The space wasn't magic — it was just less of something else.
You strip a few bathrooms and suddenly more feels possible.
Not sure it is the switch I would make though. Bathrooms time is sacred.
Have built a lot of software to streamline the @ArtLoungein experience now.
Next stage in the journey is making sure we get our marketing ops as optimised as possible.
Will be a harder challenge but I'm geared up for it.
Large part of the initial effort will be organising our massive content library.
This is very very cool.
Very very unaffordable as well.
For the last ten years I have spent every moment thinking about nothing but air. And how to make better, more personalized air accessible to homes all over the world.
And today I can finally present the next huge step in that journey.
Introducing Breethr P1, the Personal Climate System.
Launching today. And open for pre-orders right now
Reserve your P1 for $99: breethr.com
Shipping Spring 2027.
Has anyone used or seen rigorous testing of the @jbairp ?
Trying to figure out which air purifier we get this season.
Imagine the tourist economy and influx of dollars we could unleash if only the administration took things like this more seriously.
If people are willing to navigate this to come to India - can you imagine the number that would make the trip if we showed them we cared about making it easy for them?
Okay, something is going on not normal that both @amorriscode and @trq212 quit in the same week.
What new things are cooking?
Mad respect for what Nikunj has done.
He was open and transparent about what he was doing from the start and gave it his all.
I'm sure any D2C brand would be insanely lucky to have someone with his zeal for learning on their team.
Mad A level player available now.
after a ~year of working full-time on my first venture - a perfume brand, i’ve decided to move on
wins:
- made a product people genuinely loved
- went from -70% ebitda to +5% cm3 during the hardest 4 months of my life
- built internal tools & workflows that are valuable and have paying users
- didn’t give up in the darkest days and took the business from almost zero revenue to $10k in a single month
lessons:
- conviction >>> anything else
- cash & cashflow are both super crucial in a bootsrapped brand
- bet sizing matters, not just the balls you have
- faster iteration & sheer execution trumps everything
- analysis paralysis is a fatal disease
im not sure what i want to do next yet and im actively exploring domains that excite me
will be in blr mon-wed next week, would love to chat w ambitious founders building w rigor, grit and passion
dms as always are open
