Over the years, coaching conversations with CXOs, founders, and leaders have revealed something interesting.
The challenges hashtag#leaders bring into the room rarely begin with strategy. More often, they emerge from deeper questions around clarity, responsibility, and the inner stance from which leadership is practiced.
Those observations eventually led me to write Doing to Being: The Inner Journey of a Transformational Coach.
This book is not a manual on coaching techniques. Frameworks and competencies already exist in abundance. The book explores what often unfolds beyond technique.
It reflects on questions such as:
What lies beyond tools and methodologies in coaching?
How does a coach move from practicing coaching to embodying it?
How does hashtag#leadership evolve when awareness begins to guide action?
What happens when Coaching Quotient, Business Quotient, and Spiritual Quotient begin to integrate?
Many of these reflections also connect to a leadership lens I often discuss: hashtag#IQ2EQ2SQ.
Intelligence, emotional maturity, and deeper awareness must evolve together if leadership and coaching are to remain responsible and sustainable.
This book is an invitation to explore that inner journey.
If these reflections resonate with your own leadership or coaching practice, the book may offer a deeper exploration.

“We invented zero!” One of India’s greatest contributions to the world.
“India was at the heart of global trade system of world trade….”
And long before that, our spiritual traditions explored consciousness, self-awareness and our interconnectedness, what we might today connect with Spiritual Quotient (SQ).
A must-watch. A reminder of our rich heritage, and an invitation to reconnect with its energy, wisdom and consciousness.
Building a Viksit Bharat calls for much selfless work, with service above self.
Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: the world is one family.
Celebrating this wisdom is only the beginning. The deeper work is to live it in how we lead, serve and care for one another and our planet.
@DalrympleWill, grateful for your brilliant contributions to deepening our understanding of this heritage.
Thank you, @AJEnglish and the host, for this inspiring conversation.

HR Champions Coaching for Others, But Who's Coaching HR? @SHRM
'We live in interesting times.'
It is getting more interesting by the day.
Challenges galore for today's leaders across corporate, business, and other areas. All of them are sadly man-made. Hence, all leaders need professional coaching.
Leaders need real, human (not #AI, as it is not there yet), professional coaches. Followers can have AI coaches (still an oxymoron: AI and coaching), more as a basic accountability partner.
HR is dealing with leaders at all levels. They all need real, deep, professional coaching.
A professional coach is one who is
1. trained,
2. certified,
3. credentialed,
4. experienced,
5. one who works on themselves (deep work, not more certifications/credentials)
CEOs should ensure their HR teams are well supported. They can give only what they have!
While you chase business results and everything that goes with them, make sure your HR is grounded and well supported.
Business is still human; ignore it at your own risk.
A few of them then can become credentialed coaches, not to become an internal coach (again, an oxymoron), but to move from #Doing2Being a leader.
Then you are building a culture of excellence and an enduring legacy. Happy leading.
HR leaders, 'You can give only what you have'! So, Ask! Don't chase certifications; move #doing2being a leader.

Reagan spoke of America’s contribution to ending the war.
Today, “America First” feels like one of the biggest political disruptions in recent history.
We cannot place all the responsibility on one president or administration. A country’s direction also reflects its collective choices, even when many within it disagree.
To me, this approach undermines America’s opportunity to remain a superpower. That position is more than a right or an entitlement. It carries a responsibility, to the world, beyond its own borders.
America risks losing the moral high ground, too (pun intended.)
After all, you cannot keep claiming moral leadership while acting against the values you ask others to uphold.

What will it take for us to turn the tide on type 2 diabetes—and reduce the burden of other lifestyle-related diseases?
Mauritius offers a hopeful example, with a sustained decline in diabetes prevalence.
What could we achieve by making healthier food, daily movement, early screening and accessible care a shared priority?
How do we make prevention part of everyday life—in our homes, workplaces and public policy?

Doing to Being: The Inner Journey of a Transformational Coach has been featured by NDTV Shopping among ten recommended personality-development books in English.
It is heartening to see the book placed alongside enduring titles such as How to Win Friends and Influence People and Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s You Are Born to Blossom. A quiet moment of gratitude. 🙏
While the book was written from the world of coaching, its deeper invitation is universal:
To move from performance to presence.
From achievement to meaning.
From constantly doing to consciously being.
Thank you to every reader who has read, reflected on, recommended, gifted, or shared the book. The journey of a book truly begins after it leaves the author’s hands.
A quiet moment of gratitude. 🙏

On World Heart Day, let us care for the heart in every sense. ❤️
Care for its physical health through movement, rest and the attention it deserves.
Care for our mental and emotional health by making space to pause, feel, listen and connect. And care for our spiritual health by remembering what gives our lives meaning—and how we can serve others.
We spend so much of our lives in the head: analysing, planning, achieving.
Perhaps today is an invitation to travel a little further—from head to heart, from IQ to EQ to SQ. A healthy heart helps us live. An open heart helps us love, lead and serve.
How are you taking care of your heart today?
