There were dual time pressures on the Cons to 'pique the interest' of Cheshire Police; to deflect away from #LucyLetby's condemning grievance outcome against them and also to prevent further Coronial investigation of other indictment cases. The egregious plan worked. On both counts

How were other Expert Witnesses beyond Dr Dewi Evans selected for the Prosecution in #Letby Trial?
Were they independent Expert Thinkers or could they be described as a cabal?
How could so many agree on Air Embolism with no clinical or pathological evidence?

The Sunak recession - the only Tory recession in 14 years outside of Covid - lasted two quarters and saw a reduction of 0.4%.
How much damage did the last Labour recession do?
Five quarters and 6% knocked off our GDP.
And you would do it all over again.

RIP Heather 🙏 Sad news yet again that another Postmaster passed away before seeing full and fair redress and justice delivered. This could have all been avoided if the adversarial tactics were not applied at every stage of a claim

@andyburnham @biztradegovuk @UKParliament @SkyNews @BBCEmmaSimpson Unfortunately we have lost another subpostmaster without full & fair redress. Devastated. The stress of fighting & fighting & getting nowhere takes its toll on the body. RIP Heather xxx

Aaaaaand Cultists' Choice award goes to... International Man of Mystery alleged former policeman Sargeant Joe!
Not only did he fight the IRA in Northern Ireland as a member of the Irish guards as a youngster he managed to do it 20 years before all the other Irish guards too!🏆

Looks there’s a prestigious, academic school of medical excellence, that all these grifters have graduated from?
Class of 2026, with distinctions! 🌟
So how much do these charlatans earn for grafting for a serial killer these days?

I’m late to this; I don’t take anyone’s word for anything. Much of my writing has been my journey to find the truth.
Even now, after months of reading, it’s still a jigsaw. But I think I know where the missing pieces are.
My deepest dive so far.

"Cowardly killers who dodge sentencing face tough new prison punishments"
What about the wrongly convicted who are not cowardly killers at all but completely innocent? They are victims.
Why should they have to listen to a judge lambast them as well as sentencing them to decades in prison for a crime they haven't committed?
You should be introducing laws so those that helped wrongly convict them face tough prison punishments.
For example, the police who hide evidence, witnesses who lie, prosecutors that lie or twist the truth, judges who fail in their duty etc etc
Focusing on reform that drastically cuts miscarriages of justice would be a much better use of your time and resources.
You do know just how bad the justice system is surely?

The government is to introduce legislation to remove privileges from convicted killers who refuse to attend their sentencing. Lucy Letby's name is strangely absent from the press release despite her case being the trigger for new legislation. 1/2 gov.uk/government/news/cowar…

This was blindingly obvious to anyone other than the Department that the deadline set couldn’t possibly be met. If you look at the past statistics as I set out in previous letters to the Department, Ministers and Inquiry Chair Sir Wyn Williams it suggested redress claims would run until at least mid 2027 and potentially into 2028. I would suggest it is a near certainty claims will be ongoing into 2028 and if any HCRS claimants start the process now or early 2027 I am saddened to say that could run into 2029.

Yesterday 20th October 2026 Sec of State Rt. Hon. @jreynoldsMP appeared in front of the Business Select Committee @CommonsBTC . He was asked by the Chair @liambyrnemp why 1800 Redress Scheme Claims still remained unsettled despite stated ambitions in January from @biztradegovuk that all claims would be settled by the Summer.
Two full years ago upon his original appointment as Sec of State in 2024, Rt. Hon. Jonathan Reynolds MP announced the Horizon Shortfall Scheme Appeals Process following recommendations from the Horizon Compensation Advisory Board in 2023. He told the House of Commons the new appeals process would be “easy” to engage with and its outcomes would be “delivered at pace”.
The Scheme was finally launched 7 months later on 8th April 2025.
Since the launch of the HSSA 18 months ago 155 Victims have claimed under the Scheme with just 26 Claims settled to date.
So three years on from a recommendation of the HCAB and just 17% of claims settled is an interesting definition of "Delivered at pace" ⁉️

As of 30 September 2026, approximately £1,731 million has been paid to over 14,000 claimants yet Fujitsu have still yet to contribute one penny piece. 😡 😤

Not content with that, from prison Ms. Letby then somehow induced a vast range of independent experts across medicine, law and statistics to promote a compelling, but false, consensus that her prosecution was profoundly flawed and her convictions fundamentally unsafe.

Ms. Letby somehow induced several senior COCH medics—who harboured clear and present suspicions that she was attacking and murdering defenceless infants—to take no practical steps to prove this, catch her in the act much less stop her, despite many clear opportunities to do so.

What about someone like Lucy Letby who is clearly innocent of the crime she was convicted of?
This would cause severe stress for victims of wrongful incarceration, but also it changes the purpose for victim input in sentencing, to retribution.

'The prosecution case rested largely on Jayaram’s testimony. “If his account is not truthful or accurate then there is no safe basis for convicting Lucy Letby on this charge – on that point the defence and the prosecution are in agreement,” the defence barrister, B Myers KC, told the jury. “Ultimately this comes down to the evidence of Dr Jayaram.”' theguardian.com/uk-news/arti…
