Pedestrians have priority at junctions.
This means that drivers should give way to pedestrians crossing or waiting to cross at a junction.
Approach junctions with care, reduce speed, use mirrors and check blind spots.

Make sure your car is as ready for the trip as you are. Give it the once over before you set off.
Leave in plenty of time, stay below the speed limit, be prepared for changing weather, and take regular breaks on long journeys.
