That part wherein Pio used his fist to press onto the piano keys must be the one wherein Pio had fully expressed to Jeongyo what he also feels as well because the direction spent some time lingering to focus on Pio’s breathing… as if Pio was saying something to Jeongyo that he could not easily even form into words. Around that part, Grandpa Kang was emotionally moved and was silently happy to see that. Maybe that is what he was expecting Pio to do as well in the performance

During the performance, JY senses a change while Pio is playing and these words echo, bcz Pio did it deliberately. He also expressed his sorrows and also consoled the child JY, making him very emotional here. He tries to gain composure bcz his fellow artist Pio was back!

Now why did it take me this long to interpret that part. In my opinion, that was the best part of the entire Nemesis performance. I guess I was somehow stuck because I do not know how to form it into words LOL

Two broken souls who seemingly had no place in this world and in this life found each other. And then they loved each other to the point that its intimacy covered whatever is necessary to be filled.

I’m convinced that Four Hands, Two Sonatas will touch on many facets of love shared between Pio and Jeongyo, and these facets can co-exist along with their life’s respective baggages that needs to be freed later on

not to say jeongyo needed to be sacrificial, but did people forget he wants that crumbled cookie really bad

to me she's a far more interesting and layered character who's actually written to subvert the usual "dainty FMC" trope. she's the one who stands up to her own mother and jeongyo for pio. she comes across as the dominant one and even with pio.

this is what i thought as well! it was too vulnerable and intimate for pio to share publicly what jeongyo had meant to him (plus also considering that pio is aware of how much his mum hated jeongyo so he prob also wanted to protect his relationship with jeongyo from his mum ):

The reason why Pio refutes them being close is bcz he's avoidant and it's his attempt at trying to close JY's chapter and miserably failing... JY's significance is still part of his precious vulnerability and he'd rather not share it with the world :( #FourHandsTwoSonatas

How to find your first love after 9 years: Say that you don’t love him at all publicly 🤡 (Another delicious classic Kdrama trope has been uncovered 😂)
Since Pio's mom was the parallel to explain his actions, it could suggest Pio deliberately says they weren't close to provoke JY since he knew JY's weak spot was being Pio not validating his emotions, so he could find him faster!! #FourHandsTwoSonatas

Exactly why I was chill earlier when I saw the list 🤣

Omg this is my first time ever to clown Pio over something that he did 😂
Damn Pio I know you’re trying to keep yourself together from falling apart, however, what Jeongyo has interpreted from this interview is that you do not see Jeongyo as your first love at all ahdhdjfjfjfjffbdhfhfhfhfh no wonder Jeongyo came back to get your ass (and even asked you once again with that same question 😂) 😩😂🫢

It feels like a typical Korean drama trope wherein when a man loses his first love prematurely… he comes back to life after some time to claim what truly belongs to him with vengeance

a genius who speaks music like his mother tongue, loving an ordinary talent so much that he'd forgive him even for the bullet hole in his shoulder... when will i ever get tired of this storyline? (never...) #FourHandsTwoSonatas

I also think it was a suicide attempt, especially since Netflix included a suicide warning for the drama. I think his mother covered it up by telling everyone he had pneumonia.
