We're excited to announce our 2023 SYNCS speakers! This series is a new effort, organized by postdocs and funded by @UCLA_BRI, to highlight *both* cutting-edge scientific work & incredible outreach and community-engagement efforts by external postdocs during a visit to UCLA.
Learned a ton from @mjaz_jazlab & @FieteGroup! We show that when monkeys mentally navigate between points on a memorized (1D) map, dynamics in the entorhinal cortex reflects the regularity of landmarks and has a signature of grid cell cont. attractor states.
