@SumicUg Advances Japan–Africa Technology Collaboration ⏺️ Joint presentation at the AOTS Africa Business Networking Event at ARKade in Amagasaki, Osaka 🇯🇵 with Japan AI Consulting Co., Ltd #VisitSumic #SumicIsOpen #SumicInJapan – at Osaka City Sumiyoshi Ward, Osaka

Building international partnerships starts with understanding the value we can create together. This week, I joined Mr. Akihiro Katsuki, CEO of Japan AI Consulting Co., Ltd, for a joint presentation at the AOTS Africa Business Networking Event at ARKade in Amagasaki, Japan 🇯🇵 We shared our experience collaborating on AKT View, including how we combine Japanese technology with Sumic IT Solutions Ltd.'s market knowledge, user training and customer support to address business needs in African markets. Connecting with business leaders from Japan and across Africa reinforced an important principle: successful technology partnerships require a shared understanding of customers and the environments in which they operate. @SumicUg, we continue to build international relationships that translate innovation into meaningful business value. I look forward to developing the connections and conversations initiated at this event. My thanks to Mr. Akihiro Katsuki, AOTS, ARKade and the business leaders who shared their perspectives with us. #VisitSumic #SumicIsOpen #SumicInJapan

What if your next big customer is in a country you have never visited? Africa’s continental trade agenda aims to connect a market of approximately 1.5 billion people, according to the @WorldBankGroup. Imagine the possibilities when more African producers, suppliers and buyers can find each other online. That is the future we are building towards with @sumiconline | Africa's B2B digital trade platform connecting businesses across Africa and beyond. Building Secure, Resilient Digital Solutions for Africa’s Digital Future @SumicUg participated in the inaugural National Cybersecurity Conference 2026, held at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel under the theme: 📌 Securing Uganda’s Digital Future: Collaboration, Resilience and Trust. Represented by our Business Development Lead, Julius Mukubya, and Software Engineer, Denis, our team exhibited under the @innovationhubug, showcasing some of the technologies and digital platforms developed within the Sumic ecosystem. ⏺️ From @TalentKasi in HRTech & AI, @SUMICodeAI in EdTech, @sumiconline in e-commerce, @EventsTrack in EventsTech, @WorketJuaKali in LabourTech, to the work of @SumicIntAcademy, our exhibition demonstrated how we are building technology to address real challenges across businesses, institutions and communities. But building digital solutions is only part of the responsibility. As Uganda and Africa accelerate digital transformation, security, resilience and trust must be engineered into the technologies we create. For the past 7 years, @SumicUg has continued to strengthen its approach to secure software development, data protection, infrastructure security and responsible management of the digital platforms entrusted to us. As our technologies scale and serve more users, protecting those users and the organizations that depend on our systems remains a critical responsibility. 📌 The National Cybersecurity Conference provided an important platform to engage with government institutions, regulators, technology leaders, cybersecurity professionals, financial institutions and other stakeholders on strengthening Uganda’s collective cyber resilience. We believe that Africa's digital future will not only be defined by how much technology we build, but also by how secure, resilient and trustworthy that technology is. We are proud to contribute to that future, one secure digital solution at a time. #VisitSumic #NationalCybersecurityConference2026 #ConnectedUG2030
