I feel like I owe anyone that listened to @DFSArmy Kill Shot Podcast a profound apology! With the exception of Gomes, all my takes were off target. I would like to pay Kevin for 5 one month memberships. We can figure out some form of a lottery to give away.
Woodson has some of the worst fight IQ I have ever seen! Piecing him up standing and the dummy follows him to the ground!
OG @GambLou is heating up. One of the reasons why VSIN Pro is worth the cost of admission!
Let the ridicule begin! Chapman to win by KO +1100 ($100) Chapman ML +600 ($100) Hedge by playing Wint by Round 1 KO -150 ($300)
Perhaps an unpopular take. IMHO, GR got some of my respect. She was outmatched and undersized (physically) from the jump. While I thought the line on Dern was a gift. I have seen GR totally give up in the past when fights got difficult. She didn’t do that here.
Gave out Stolzfus as my dog play on the slate. Played in my main lineup in DFS.

Huge card! #UFC330 Fight Thoughts:
1️⃣ Mak/Garry - Have to pick Mak to have wrestling and control success. He controls striking exhanges well too. Garry can beat him at distance or hurt him but it’s dependent on defending takedowns.
2️⃣ Dern/Robertson - Ugly one. I am betting against Dern longterm bc she’s a poor wrestler and below average striker, but I think this is a good matchup for her. Robertson crushes weak grapplers but Dern is not one of them. Robertson prob needs to lay on Dern for 3+ rounds or win ugly striking rounds. Wouldn’t rule it out but lean Dern. Read my premium article if you want more in-depth.
3️⃣Turner/Fernandes - Gut feeling Fernandes. Has been solid defensively, and devastating leg kicks. Turner could just chase him down and knock him out but don’t think it’s that straightforward. Probably chaotic.
4️⃣MAM/Stoltzfus - MAM better athlete and wrestler but red flags with process. Stoltzus is ok enough to have mild success everywhere but probably dependent on him eating some shots and surviving which he may not.
5️⃣ Barboza/Ribovics - Would have been a competitive, extended striking affair a few years back but now it feels like Barboza won’t hold up long. Ribovics too high volume and too durable. You never know but have a bad feeling it’s another ugly vet send off.
6️⃣ Alvarez/Chidi - Alvarez is probably tougher and more durable but I don’t really think he’s better - at least as a kickboxer. Probably chaotic striking until Alvarez hurts him or club and sub. Think Chidi is live on the feet though.
7️⃣ CJ/Chapolin - Probably typical CJ fight. Unsure what to make of short notice. CJ wins close distance affair or Chapolin wins it with better optics/tds.
8️⃣DJ/McConico - DJ is too small for this div. McConico is fine. DJ will come forward and try to hurt him, and he might. Possible it’s ugly, competitive decision which McC is live in.
9️⃣ Luque/Gore - I mostly fear Gore getting on top of Luque in the mid rounds, which could lead to a stoppage. Luque has very good chance to beat him up early and finish the fight.
🔟 Tobias/Fernando - I wouldn’t count Tobias out here. Super young, physical and probably has wrestling edge. Fernando better base kickboxer though and could hurt him. Want more data to feel good about read.
1️⃣1️⃣ Magny/Brahimaj - Brahimaj early or Magny late on paper. I haven’t picked Brahimaj often but I think Brahimaj will give him real trouble early.
1️⃣2️⃣ Orolbai/Wells - I mean Gorimbo just took Wells down 6 times so I’m assuming this is Orolbai smash. Wells live for random moment.

Segue way from UFC. “Lioness” is some of the best TV! From everything I have read. Episode 1 (season 3) gives a highly realistic view on the fighting in Ukraine
Final take on the McGregor debacle. I have spoken with several Aerospace Engineers. It is entirely plausible that Mac’s Mohawk caused a 5mm shift in balance that was exasperated by the AC at T-Mobile. Furthermore, it had been proven by Samson that hair effects muscular movement.
When one thinks of pugilistic OG’s in the Savage Science of DFS. The list is very small. Mr. Appley is a prominent member. I have had the honor of being in Brett’s orbit since the early days. We are so privileged to bring him outside of the paywall to impart his winning formula!

If AF wins by Dec and Amil/C-Rod goes over over 2 1/2, Cody may need to find a babysitter, as I’m coming to Canada to sponsor a bucket list dinner. Oh yeah, @PaulShag you and your’s can come too!

Back with #UFCVegas119 Fight Thoughts!
1⃣Kape/Horiguchi - I get that Kape has power edge, is more aggressive, and is now in his prime. I still respect the technique, experience and defense of Horiguchi and unsure Kape bombing on him will easily produce results. Fight is projected to extend which makes me think it will be farily competitive.
2⃣Stirling/Cutelaba - Cutelaba is always live to produce big early moments but not excited to bet against Stirling right now. If fight extends I see Stirling being more impactful distance striker and potentially finding a finish.
3⃣Rodriguez/Amil - I love Amil's pacing and I think he can have success via pacing in just about any matchup, however, this one strikes me as a difficult one bc Crod is such a strong neutralizer and probably has wrestling advantages here.
4⃣Mag/Bag - Hard to feel comfortable in Bag's form he's won like 1 fight in the last 5 years. Good kickboxer obviously and live in that area. Unsure how good Mag really is. Still think Mag finds a way to hurt him and/or gets on top where has sub grappling advantage.
5⃣Oliveira/Fili - Can't ever count Fili out. Super vet and well-rounded. We've seen Oliveira make countless mistakes on regionals and in UFC. Fili is aging out and still gets hurt somewhat often, so that's a reasonable expectation. Would lean Fili value but expecting Oliveira to have enough moments to win and potentially get a finish.
6⃣Lima/Borjas - Borjas just a brawler so this feels like a super tough matchup. Might start competitive but Lima probably takes over and dominates the second half of the fight, possibly on the ground. Probably finds a finish.
7⃣Mesquita/Mullins - Am not sure how Mesquita looks in extended striking affair or when she faces adversity so by default there are some questions. Mullins isn't great though and I'd be surprised if she was the one to test Bia. Guessing we see Bia get on top and finish somewaht early.
8⃣Nascimento/Raposo - I don't love Nascimento's processing but he's got a huge sub grappling edge and Raposo hates producing any kind of offense. I guess Raposo can win a decision via wrestling and boxing, or maybe he can hurt Nascimento. Just hard to trust offensive output and thinking Nascimento dominates if he ever gets in an advantageous grappling position.
9⃣Aswell/Bolanos - I'm not high on Bolanos but marco wise I have to wonder how he looks if he gets a kickboxing fight here, against an opponent who's absorbing 7+ strikes per minute. Still lean Aswell for skill/volume/durability but good chance Bolanos outperforms expectations here against a hittable opponent who may not wrestle.
🔟Chokheli/Shab - Both guys suck imo but Shab sucks more. Hard to picture Shab winning without an early finish, and probably a sub. He just can't wrestle and durability questions. Hoping Chokheli stops him early but not completely confident.
1⃣1⃣Rosa/Santos - Always a fan of Rosa's minute winning ability but I haven't liked some of her lack of urgency lately. Defensive grappling is mediocre. Santos is far, far from proven yet though and she's only fought bums. I think this is a tough matchup for her on paper and don't want to rely on lame head/arm throws for top time, but it's wmma and a competitive fight still feels likely. Lean Rosa.
1⃣2⃣Collins/Tanzilovi - Want more data here. Tanzilovi solid distance kicker, Collins more straightforward kickboxer. Both guys have issues with pressure and I think Collins is much more likely to pressure here which should take away some of Tanz kicking game. Both guys are tough so feeling extended fight, but not super confident.
