Our planet this morning… Notice the terminator (the distinct, gradually fading line that separates the day side of the planet lit by the sun from the night side) appears as a straight line running directly from the North Pole to the South Pole. This means we are very close to the equinox, the day the sun is directly over the equator. The autumnal equinox is Monday at 1:19p CT. The “official” beginning of fall.
