We migrated our entire company’s cloud off Railway.
We’ve been loyal to Railway for years and truly love the product. Trust is critical for enterprise-grade infrastructure. Unfortunately, that trust was lost yesterday.
I hope (and do believe) they will come back from this.
I love railway as a product, but man their uptime and reliability is terrible :( Still, when it works well, it's beautiful.
We've invested a ton in research on building the best video agent that is accessible to anyone and cost efficient. Motion is framework agnostic. You can export videos to any format (Premiere, After Effects, Davinci, etc).
We'll publish more research soon
today, we're launching the General Video Agent.
GVA edited this entire launch video. 👇🏽
public beta is now live at motion.so/gva. no waitlist.

Coming soon, you'll be able to automate and grow your entire youtube channel making videos like these
we have achieved video AGI internally.
our new video agent one-shotted this video about @garrytan from a 2 sentence prompt 👇
all the b-roll, captions, motion graphics, sourced footage. i didn't edit anything.
coming out soon.
sol 6.1 is the epitome of no thoughts head empty
execution is cheap and great, but man it does not think for itself well at all
i pray that openai fixes this in the newest model they're releasing this week
Our video agent made this video with a few prompts, and it's all editable in premiere :)
when I worked at @Tesla, I went back and watched all the keynotes for every single release: Roadster, S, X, Y, 3, Semi.
as I watched these back-to-back, I noticed how consistent @elonmusk has always been with his messaging. literally 20 years ago, at the initial Roadster launch, elon was saying the same things about EVs he says today.
he had a vision. even when everyone else told him he was wrong, the entire auto-industry was against him, he believed in his vision and executed it on relentlessly.
in retrospect, it feels trivial.
but to materialize your vision in such a way (in elon's case, not just once or twice, but many times over) is the hardest thing imaginable.
by law of inertia, everything is against you. you must muster it within yourself to manifest your vision into reality. It's what ever founder hopes to do.
yesterday, the Roadster flew.
will it sell? maybe. maybe not. but for me, it was the most exciting product launch since the iPhone. and sometimes, that's all it's about.

this edit was done with a few prompts to our new video agent. we've been materializing our own vision for agentic video editing. coming soon. 👇
Build vs. buy comes down to 1 question:
Tokens to build + cost to run + hours to maintain
vs.
Paying someone else to run it
Whichever costs you less wins.
If you're a startup selling the “buy” option, price against where building is headed, not where it is today.
GPT models have little to no creativity compared to Claude models. I can’t believe how far behind OpenAI is
