i’m joining @aeonframework as an engineer.
the last few months i’ve been building skopos and a bunch of other stuff, contributing to projects like @elizaOS and @making_cindy, @merit_systems shipping security fixes across other projects ,working on x402, and spending way too much time messing with agents.
somewhere in there aeon stopped being an experiment and became something i ran every day. first on my own projects, then for security research, market research, and coding. then i started contributing. now i’m working on it
what stood out: @aaronjmars and @0xNurstar are both ridiculously hands-on, the project moves fast, and there’s a very real bias toward actually building things instead of spending weeks talking about what might be possible.
i’ve also met some genuinely great people through all of this, including @z0r0zzz and had a few conversations that turned into opportunities i can’t talk about yet.
one of those eventually became this.
i’ll be building with @aaronjmars and @OxNurstar, and spending a lot more time around builders who are using agents, building agents, and figuring out what they can actually do.
i’ve already been running aeon pretty hard these past couple weeks, and it’s been a genuinely fun team to build with.
very happy to be here.
back to work.
we’re moving from using ai(si) to operate software to building software that can operate itself.
@aeonframework is building toward something we’ve imagined for years: a software factory you control, running on your own infra, taking on real engineering work, evolving its own capabilities, recovering from failures, learning new skills and getting better with every run without waiting for your next prompt.
this is already happening. a lot of the pieces are in place, and things are moving fast. build something with it. make the software factory yours.

crypto keeps reinventing the same 400 mechanisms with a new logo
so we automated it :)

230 protocols year-to-date.
Crypto security is absolutely cooked.

0:32 Three disasters: PHP2Shell, LiteLLM, eMudhra
2:24 Finding bugs got cheap, and why that matters
3:05 How Aeon scans (and what it would have missed from the Black October doomsday's vulns)
4:53 @omarchy: a theme that runs code

aeon just got private access to Fugu-Cyber by @SakanaAILabs ⭐
third best cyber model out there, right behind Mythos & GPT-5.5-Cyber.
let's secure the world 🙏
Introducing Fugu-Cyber: an update to our Fugu orchestration model.
It achieves state-of-the-art performance on real-world security benchmarks, matching cyber-focused frontier models like GPT-5.5-Cyber and Mythos Preview.

It's pretty scary how much software is not safe.

there is no liquidity in crypto anymore
in traditional markets, revenue comes from customers buying a product. new money enters the system
in crypto, revenue comes from existing users rotating from one token to the next. no new money, just the same capital changing seats
you can keep playing musical chairs with what’s left onchain, or go capture the capital flowing into AI
my bet with base:0xbf8e8f0e8866a7052f948c16508644347c57aba3: launch the token early, buy it back with EXTERNAL revenue, keep building
the token is the new equity: an open alternative to VCs and closed capital markets
like i said, you can't rely on crypto liquidity expanding anymore. like a emerging market, it'll have short booms, with busts.
you have to look towards the outside. card spending ramping. gpu loans going up. inference demand. all of these are fresh blue oceans.
there are coins tied to crypto liquidity (bad), and then there are coins tied to external liquidity (good).
