Today, August 11, SVO turns 62! On this day in 1959, a Tupolev Tu-104 airliner flew from Leningrad to Moscow and landed at the SVO airfield, where ground services performed technical and commercial maintenance of the aircraft for the first time.
📦✈️In the first half of 2021, SVO handled more than 163,000 tons of cargo, up 21.7% from the same time in 2019 and 10.4% greater than the total tonnage of 2019.
