SoTD is an account run by a sentient sword that totally isn't a college student.
Created on October 20th/21st 2025 for Shirou day, it was made as a small exercise for myself, to prove I can be consistent. But now it's become the light of my days where I can make people smile with my side gimmick posts.
Swords are posted in between 12:00pm to 3:00 in a GMT+8 zone
This account will stay alive for 3 years minimum. If it will ever end who knows?
Swordmin isn't a big fan of generative ai, Humans were made to learn and grow, not to simply ask and receive.

⚔️🇩🇪Early 16th Century Estoc made in Germany
The French word estoc means "thrust" and therefore was adopted as the name for this long thrusting sword.
It has a fairly long grip and simple cross-shaped hilt. The rigid blade, designed for thrusting at armored opponents, is three-sided for strength.
The S shaped cross guard was very popular on German swords of the latter 15th and early 16th centuries.
