It’s that time again, I’m helping to drive a convoy of evacuation vehicles from the UK to Ukraine, to save people’s lives (details in the link) donorbox.org/angustrevorukra… Grateful for any donation to keep the project going, no matter how small. Pics are from my last trips

I was one of the marshals at Oulton Park when everything went wrong last week. I wanted to write about the experience from a marshal's perspective. There's no detail about the incident, but more about how the community deals with grief. medium.com/@phil.scarisbrick…

This is very sad news. Mike was a top co-driver, a great boss and a good man. He took a chance on @neilwearden and I in 1998 and we were delighted to be part of a fantastic and successful team. We also enjoyed ourselves. Our thoughts are with Marie and his family.

Been on a bus for 4 hours plus an hour border crossing - Odesa, Ukraine to Moldova. 4 hour flight to London Luton, 4 hours home on 4 different trains - just leaving London, next stop Kent and home for 12:30am. Planes, trains and automobiles…. 🙈🤣

1/2 Igor has been a terrific host. We had a little party with some of his friends last night, and were lucky that the electricity came back on. He’s excited that the app says he will have power all day today.

This is the aftermath of the missile attack on Igor’s home in April 2022, 2 months into the invasion. That was his Mercedes in the video. Sadly 10 people lost their lives.

It’s incredible how a 20-year old (in 2022) Fynn Watt’s idea has grown. Driving Ukraine has had fundraisers and drivers from all over the world helping to save lives.

Here’s today’s video update as promised

1/4 Update: - Victoria who deferred her place in Harvard to be a combat medic in the front line (see previous post), gave Mark and Steve from North Yorkshire a flag when they handed over the vehicle that they fund raised for and delivered.

4/4 In the meantime it's going to feature as a background in my videos where I'm certain it will generate a lot of questions and allow me to spread the story behind it and the cause far and wide.”

We go to the military cemetery to pay our respects on every visit to Lviv. One grave a couple of days old. It’s the same in every city, town & village. Our friends tell us that there would be more buried in here if it wasn’t for the Driving Ukraine project donorbox.org/angustrevorukra…
