You had to be there. See that era. There were some real villains who did everything they could to make other teams pay with pain. Ejections were rare. League penalties were rare. Teams weren’t scoring 110+ points a night. It was defensive play and the ability of players like Jordan to cut them down. The NBA is different since everyone went west coast offense eons ago. For me it’s unwatchable. Everything Rodman said was true and he was a villain. We were lucky enough to get him to the Bulls as muscle but more importantly as one of the greatest rebounders in NBA history.
