I'm Taher. By day, I work on content at Supergrow. On weekends, I build and run TradeWithWorld.com Pick a trade route and a product, and it shows the HS code, duties and documents you'll need. Here's what to expect from this account 🧵

🇺🇸 The US says ending its duty order on Moroccan phosphate fertilizers would likely bring back subsidies of 20.04%. The order stays for now. A "sunset review" checks every 5 years if a duty is still needed. Source: US Commerce, 3 Nov. tradewithworld.com/resources…
1
20.04% is the rate likely if the order ended, not what importers pay today. The US ITC runs its own review, with a hearing on 1 April 2027. ⚠️ US importers of Moroccan phosphate: 1. What cash deposit rate applies to your entries today? 2. Who tracks the ITC hearing?
2
🇺🇸 The US has cut the subsidy duty rate for most Canadian softwood lumber suppliers from 14.19% to 12.80%. It follows a NAFTA panel ruling. Five named firms keep their newer rates. Source: US Commerce, 3 Nov. tradewithworld.com/resources…

Revised cash deposit (money paid at the border) instructions for the "All Others" group are coming. The notice gives no date. ⚠️ US importers, Canadian suppliers: 1. Is your supplier "All Others"? 2. Has CBP issued new instructions? 3. Which entries are unliquidated?
🇪🇺 The EU's anti-dumping duty on Chinese molybdenum wire ends on 27 July 2027, unless a review is started. Nothing changes for buyers yet. The notice gives no duty rate. Source: European Commission, 30 Oct. tradewithworld.com/resources…
1
EU producers can ask for a review up to three months before the end date. If one opens, importers and exporters can comment. ⚠️ EU importers and Chinese exporters: 1. Are you costing past July 2027? 2. Who will watch for a review request?
🇪🇺 From 1 Jan 2027, lithium-ion cells, rare-earth magnets and some wind turbine parts get new EU product codes. The EU's 2027 tariff code list, the Combined Nomenclature (CN), adds these lines to track the goods. Source: European Commission, 30 Oct. tradewithworld.com/resources…

Other new codes: PET flakes, aluminium scrap, oak and beech logs, boneless beef cuts, and magnet and hard drive scrap. Exporters, EU importers and brokers: 1. Does any product move to a new code? 2. Are invoices and customs systems updated? 3. Has your EU broker confirmed?
🇮🇳 From 1 Nov, listed banks and agencies importing gold, silver and platinum into India lose their Nil IGST rate. IGST is the GST charged on imports. The exemption entry and the lists naming the banks were removed. Source: India Finance Ministry, 27 Oct. tradewithworld.com/resources…
1
3
The notice doesn't say which IGST rate applies now, or how goods in transit are treated. Watch for CBIC guidance. 💡 If you buy metal from these banks: 1. Did your supplier import under the old exemption? 2. Which rate applies now? 3. Does your pricing cover tax paid at import?
2
🇨🇳 Diamond sawblades from China will likely keep their US anti-dumping duty. In a notice on 30 Oct, the US ITC found that lifting it would likely hurt American makers. The order covers the blades and their parts. Source: US ITC, 30 Oct. tradewithworld.com/resources…

8
Tool and building suppliers who buy these blades: nothing changes yet. The duty still needs a formal renewal from US Commerce, and no date is set. 💡 Check what deposit rate you pay now, since the ITC notice lists none.

🇨🇳 US duties on chassis and subassemblies from China look set to stay. The US ITC voted that ending them would likely hurt US firms. This five-year check, called a sunset review, covers both anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duties. Source: US ITC, 2 Nov. tradewithworld.com/resources…

6
⚠️ The duties are not formally renewed yet. That needs a separate notice from US Commerce, and no date has been given. If you import these chassis: 1. Check the deposit rate you pay today, since the ITC notice gives no rates. 2. Watch for the Commerce notice.

🇪🇺 Cellulose ethers from China and Korea could face a backdated EU anti-dumping duty (a charge on goods sold too cheap). The EU began recording them on 31 Oct, so any duty could reach goods landing now. Source: EU Official Journal, 30 Oct. tradewithworld.com/resources…

10
The complaint estimated dumping margins of 120-130% for China and 45-55% for Korea. No duty is set yet. ⚠️ If you buy these chemicals: 1. Is yours one of the six types named? 2. Made in China or Korea? 3. Who pays a backdated duty under your contract?

🇺🇸 The US says it plans to end AGOA trade preferences for South Africa and Rwanda from 1 January 2027. This hasn't happened yet. It's a stated intention. AGOA is a US trade preference program for sub-Saharan African countries. Source: USTR, 2 Nov. tradewithworld.com/resources…

6
USTR doesn't say which products are affected or what duty would apply instead. 💡 Exporters and US importers: 1. Does your shipment enter under AGOA today? 2. What's your landed cost without it? 3. Watch for the formal notice and Customs guidance.

🇺🇸 The first US anti-dumping ruling on welded stainless pipe from India, Türkiye and the UAE is now due by 10 Feb 2027, not 22 Dec 2026. The companies that brought the case asked for the delay on 23 Oct. Source: US Commerce, 2 Nov. tradewithworld.com/resources…

It's still an investigation, so no anti-dumping duty (an extra charge on goods sold below fair value) applies yet. For buyers and exporters: 1. Is your pipe welded stainless line or pressure pipe? 2. Does your contract say who pays any future duty? 3. Mark 10 Feb.
