...huh. I just learned that "author" is correct even in British/Canadian spelling, and "authour" is just a mistake. Good to know.
Taking today to try to write some Forward scripts. If the writing brain doesn't want to cooperate, I've got plenty of things to draw instead. Either way, I'm going to try to stay focused!

Now that it's been a year, I think I'll go back and remove the duplicate Trump Day-of-the-Dead thing I posted. I had hoped the time change would mean it'd show the same image posted twice at the same time and it would be kinda spooky, but it just looked like an error on my part.

Supremely weird opening to November. Two (!) incredibly improbable 2s, followed by (in honour of Sir Patrick Stewart, I guess) making no mistakes and still losing Referdle.
Due to a costume keys-handoff related incident, I inadvertently spent the first eight hours of November locked out of my house. Very grateful it wasn't raining or snowing this year.
"I'll simply paint my whole head white", I said.
"It'll be stark and minimalist", I said.
"Two tubes should be more than enough", I said.
I do look unsettling, but not in the eldritch way I was going for. More like a five year old who got into the office supplies and decided to abuse the Wite-Out.
Today has a very hurry-up-and-wait energy. I managed to get some writing done, but the creative energy has otherwise placed itself on standby. Rather annoyed with myself, given that I have multiple hours in which to get things done.
