Without the workers of @dukegradunion the university would cease to function, full stop.
Duke admin is scared because a union will force them to––God forbid––actually support their employees.
BREAKING: Duke attys have indicated they intend to challenge the legal standing of grad workers as employees, aiming to reverse the NLRB’s 2016 Columbia decision. @DukeU: stop these reprehensible union-busting tactics, recognize our majority, and meet us at the bargaining table.

Back in December, the CS TAs w @talabororg asked Brown admin for voluntary recognition w over 70% support. Brown declined. So they organized harder, winning their NLRB election w over 90% support. These kids are more than just alright. They will change labor standards in tech.
