What is truly infuriating is we KNEW this when it HAPPENED and did nothing.
Acknowledging we know about these crimes and allowing them to go unchecked is the WHOLE problem.

That’s insane. We must regulate AI — NOW!

Donald Trump is corrupt.
He is a narcissist.
He is a pathological liar.
He is a danger to the United States and to working families.
We cannot allow his party to control the Senate. VOTE.

Historian of fascism here. This is an escalation of an attempt to normalize extreme violence, ritualize violence, militarize the country, and make violence entertaining so when they ask you to commit violence in their name, you will be ready.
Trump & Hegseth aren't just proposing to livestream an execution for people who want to watch.
They're proposing to broadcast a man being shot to death, even if deserved by our system, and even if you agree with this version of the death penalty, knowing that the footage will be clipped, shared, and pushed into social media feeds.
Including those of our children. The gruesome image will be everywhere.
Parents will have virtually no control over whether their kids see it. Once those images are released, there is no taking them back.
Hope all the parents in the Trump Admin are cool with that.

If you’re from outside the United States and still wondering how bad things are - one of the highest officials in the land, with the support of our President plans to livestream the execution of a partially paralyzed US citizen.
This isn’t about the crime, which was horrific or the shooter’s guilt, which is indisputable. This is about our government’s lack of ethics and its hypocrisy.
Trump has widely condemned other countries for public, state sanctioned executions. Yet, here we are. This is fundamentally wrong no matter what your views are of the death penalty.
No matter how low this administration goes, there is never a bottom.
With Hegseth deciding to livestream a firing squad execution, is it also time for gladiators, lions and tigers?

🦔The Blue Cross Blue Shield Association says insurers paid out nearly $1 billion more than usual from AI-assisted hospital documentation in 2024-2025. Hospitals use AI to scan records and find secondary diagnoses that human reviewers missed. More diagnoses means higher reimbursements. But treatment levels haven't gone up.
BCBSA's SVP of data science said AI is "identifying more billable conditions, not sicker patients." Insurers now deploy their own AI to deny those same claims. Patients pay for both through higher premiums.
My Take
This might be the most American healthcare story I've ever read. Hospitals bought AI to find more things to bill for. Insurers bought AI to deny those bills. The technology cost money on each end and the tab went straight to patients through higher premiums. A billion dollars moved and no one got any healthier. The only thing that changed was the size of the invoices.
Two sides of a trillion-dollar industry found a new tool to fight over the same pool of money and the person in the hospital bed pays for all of it. Premiums go up, denials go up, and the AI vendors collect from everyone. If you want to know who AI works for, stop reading the press releases and look at where the money goes. In healthcare it went straight into the billing department.

VIDEO RECEIPT:
Sen. Tommy Tuberville says:
“Many airline pilots,
flight attendants,
and air traffic controllers
are part of the
furry community.”
Then:
“When you walk onto
a commercial flight,
it’s possible that the pilot
flying your plane could have
a deranged fetish of
dressing up like an animal.”
And his conclusion:
“IT’S TERRIFYING.”
Okay.
Where's the aviation data?
How many pilots?
How many flight attendants?
How many air traffic controllers?
What FAA safety finding connects being a furry to job performance?
What accident investigation identified it as a contributing factor?
What documented safety risk is he describing?
Because Tuberville didn't just talk about a subculture.
He connected it to the people responsible for aviation safety.
That's a testable claim.
