We had an amazing time stretching our learning edges at the #VATLL conference in Williamsburg the past three days. This team of Falcon leaders can’t wait to come back and share all we’ve learned to support teacher and student excellence. 💛
Congratulations to Falcon Technology teacher, Sam Henry, who was the recipient of a $2,000 grant from the Kiwanis Club. She plans to use the money for hands-on project materials for her students. 💛💚 Way to go Ms. Henry! #falconpride @vbschools
This lead mentor is 🔥🔥🔥! We celebrated the greatness of 14 new teachers at Kempsville today! Thanks for being my partner in joy, @MsVBLitCoach ❤️💙
Loved spending the day with the @KHS_Chiefs, visiting new teachers and celebrating all of the AMAZING things happening in their classrooms! 🫶🏼❤️💙

A reminder as you start a new week: Relationships really matter. 🧡
ALT "I remember going into my first year of teaching thinking I was going to use a bunch of cute classroom management tricks. I’m now 4 years in and although those tricks are helpful, I’ve learned the most important and effective classroom management strategy is RELATIONSHIPS." —Abby Howard, Teacher
So many great moments from our new teacher learning walks and celebration today!! It was an absolute joy to spend the day at @LandstownEagles! These new teachers are 🔥🔥🔥! @MsPeeJay @kcsanderlin

Wishing all my teacher friends and their students a HAPPY first day! ✨ (Not sure how I got so lucky to be on @hmallen’s goodie list, but she ALWAYS brightens my day) #WeAreVBSchools #backtoschool
I love when new-ish teachers are back and want me to come help! We talked through first week plans, tweaked a few things, and did a little decorating.👏🏼🍎✏️ #backtoschool #newteachers #WeAreVBSchools
