Ryan Tedder reveals Tate McRae’s hit “Housewife” marks the end of her early-2000s-inspired sound ahead of a sonic shift on her forthcoming album: “I’m a big believer in if once you start a trend, you also should be the one that ends it. And so, with ‘Housewife’, we said, ‘OK, if we’re going to do anything that smacks remotely of early 2000s, this has to be kind of it. Then we move it.’” #TM4
